Dancing with the Stars: The Finals

It's finals time on "Dancing with the Stars"! We're getting serious now, as both teams will have to perform at least three dances. For the first round, they have to dance to the exact same song.

Up first are Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke, dancing the Samba. They dance to "You Can Feel It All Over". I gave it a 9, but what did the judges say? Len Goodman says he wasn't disappointed. Bruno Tambioli says it was quite a way to start. Carrie Ann Inaba says they blew her away. The scores are...all 10s! Great start!

Next is Mario Lopez (Super Mario) and Karina Smirnoff. They also have the Samba. I LOVED IT, and gave it a 10! As for the judges, Carrie says the team enjoyed themselves. Len says they messed up the promenades. Bruno says they had a great time. The scores are...2 10s and a 9 from Len, for a total of 29.

In Round 2, the teams get to choose their favorite dance of the season. Emmitt and Cheryl try the Mambo, which got them a 29 one time. I gave that a ten. Bruno says he delivered like a true professional. Carrie says they mastered the technique. Len says Smith's partner is an MVP partner. Needless to say, they get all 10s to double up to 60.

Mario's team does the Pasadoble. I gave that a ten as well. Len says it was great. Bruno calls him the Latin Thunderbolt. Carrie Ann says it was fabulous, and was a little disappointed Bruno couldn't dance. They get a 30 for 59 total.

Final round: FREESTYLE!!! Emmit and Cheryl Drew Lachey is shown helping out the team in the backstage scene. They dance to "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. According to me, they do the best dance of the season! Carrie says she anticiated this, and she wasn't disappointed. Len says Emmitt put the cherry on top of his work this season. Bruno said that they shaked on the lift a bit. We get a 10....another 10.....and a 9 from Bruno for a final score of 89 from the judges.

Mario and Karina dance to "It Takes Two". I gave that a nine. Bruno calls it a hit parade on the floor. Carrie says that was the best dance of the season. Len says if the dance was a film, it would be great. They get....30! We have a tie at 89! My scores are tied at 29 apiece! Once again, it comes down to you, viewers. The other stars who sat in the audience tonight will have to put on their gear, because they will be part of some exhibititon dances, as well as the big results, on Wednesday. See you then!
