Tribune and Freemantle sell "Family Feud" to Debmar-Mercury
According to Gameshownewsnet and Broadcasting and Cable.com, Tribune Entertainment has sold the distribution rights to the current version of "Family Feud" to Debmar-Maercury, a subsidiary of Lionsgate. This deal was made in order for Debmar-Mercury to get better time slots for the show next season. Thus, I expect the show to be back for at least one more season. Thus, IMO, I think this version of the show replaces "Street Smarts" as the little game show that could. But serious changes need to be made to the game, except for John O' Hurley.
