MVPs: Effren Afante ("Deal or No Deal"), Saleisha Stowers ("America's Next Top Model") and Todd Herzog ("Survivor: China")
The biggest winner of the week, Herzog, became the second-youngest "Survivor" champion in history at age 22! Only Jenna Morasca (21) was younger when she won back in May 2003. The Rihanna lookalike, Stowers, dominated the ninth season finale of "America's Top Next Model" en route to her big win. Personally, in all the time I've watched this show, I thought she was the best contestant I've seen on the show! Afante was part of one of the most exciting "Deal or No Deal" games in history, having $750,000 and $1,000,000 still in play with only three cases left in his game, along with $10. I felt that he should've won more than $148,000, because I didn't like the fact that he was required to go for the Deal Wheel, even if he had won the $1 Million.
Other Big Winners and Notables:
James Clement- $100,000 ("Survivor: China")
Vanessa- $10,556 as three-day champ ("Temptation")
Shanita Wilkens- $76,400 ("Wheel of Fortune")
Karl Schaub- $175,000 ("Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?")
Paul Vann- $100,000 ("Don't Forget the Lyrics!")
Anthony Moreira- $80,000 ("Deal or No Deal")
Bill Onieal- $67,934 ("WOF")
Sam Lundquist- $58,650 ("WOF")
Bob Gerris and Thom Slattery- $50,000 each ("WWTBAM")
Alan Mezasky- $50,000 ("Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?")
Next week, unless a complete miracle occurs, whoever wins "Duel" will get the honors.
