The task this time: Create a Kodak mobile printing experience that would be spread worldwide.
Since the females (Empresario) lost their first two challenges, Gene Simmons, the Project Manager of last week's winning male team, was offered the chance to move to Empresario and become their Project Manager for this task. He....accepted the offer.
The Project Manager for Team Hydra was Tito Ortiz!
Team Empresario got off to a bad start, as their talking led the Kodak execs astray.
Stephen Baldwin, even though Ortiz was the Project Manager, was bossing his teammates around while in a conference room. The men later made a potentially fatal mistake, as thanks mostly to Baldwin after Ortiz and Lennox Lewis did some photo shoot on the table, they inadvertantly made the table slightly flip over, causing coffee to spill all over the laptop that held all of their photos, causing a vast majority of them to be corrupted (lost)! Ouch.
After Ortiz saw the interim presentation, he thought most of it was sloppy. Stephen later called his brother, Alec (from "30 Rock") for help. Alec paid for the team's printing ink. Speaking of that, their presentation was all about the word "ink".
Joining Ivanka this week as an assistant was Jim Cramer, the host of "Mad Money" on CNBC. Simmon was very confident that his team won....
...alas, the "ink" campaign wound up saving Hydra, so they won for the third straight time! That meant Ortiz won $20,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Simmons, Omarosa and Jennie were in the final boardroom. Simmons was criticized for skipping a crucial meeting with the Kodak execs, as well as thinking the company's ideas were wrong. Back at Hydra's war room, they thought Simmons was toast....
...indeed, he was. According to Mr. Trump, both of Simmons' selections for the final boardrooom were oddball and stupid. This has to go down as one of the biggest blunders in "Apprentice" history.
