"The Ultimate Fighter VII"- Episode 3

This season's teams:

Team Rampage:
CB Dollaway
Matt Riddle
Paul Bradley
Daniel Cramer
Gerald Harris
Mike Dolce
Jeremy May
Brandon Sene

Team Griffin:
Tim Credeur
Amir Sadollah (the Richmond guy!)
Jesse Taylor
Matt Brown
Cale Yarbrough
Dante Rivera
Nick Rossborough
Luke Zachrich

Prior to the selection of the teams, a coin toss was held. Rampage Jackson won the coin toss, and was given the option of picking the first person on his team or setting up the first fight. He decided to pick a fighter instead of a fight.

Unfortunately, Paul Bradley became the first contestant this season forced to withdraw because of what looked to be a case of herpes that proved to be contagious. Therefore, Patrick Schultz replaced him on his team.

FIGHT: Mike Dolce vs. Jesse Taylor
Referee: Herb Dean

Starting this season, the winner of each fight wins $5,000, regardless of whether the win is by KO or not. Should a fighter win by KO or tap-out, another $5,000 is awarded (as usual).

At the 18-second mark, Taylor applied a rear-naked choke, but couldn't make Dolce tap out. He let it go after the first minute went by in the round. He tried it again but that was short-lived. Nobody won in this round but Taylor totally dominated this round. I gave him the edge, 10-8.

Near the end of the first two minutes of Round 2, Taylor started to come alive again. He went for the rear-naked choke again...and this time made him tap out at 1:47 of the second round, winning him $10,000!
