TPIR: Episode 4462K begins with Hector, Cynthia, Mark and Kylie. The first IUFB is a plasma HDTV (Gabrielle).

Hector: $1,850
Cynthia: $2,000
Mark: $1,299
Kylie: $1,300

ARP: $1,898

Hector Rivera, a student from UC-Riverside, will attempt to complete a Triple Play! Now, the past two times this game has been played in daytime, we've had a WIPEOUT. Let's hope that doesn't happen again today. First up is a Ford Focus Coupe (Lanisha) and here are the prices:

$14,693
$15,489

He chooses $14,693...CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS- WE HAVE OUR THIRD STRAIGHT TRIPLE PLAY WIPEOUT IN DAYTIME. Darn. ARP, which wasn't shown: $15,735, I think. The other cars left to waste were a Dodge Avenger and a Chevrolet Impala.

Julie then comes on down fifth and the second IUFB is an electric fireplace (Tamiko).

Julie: $1,585
Cynthia: $2,500
Mark: $1,586
Kylie: BUCK

ARP: $899

Kylie Deneen's one buck bid earns her the right to play Flip Flop for a mini trailer (Gabrielle). Board:

8658

She flips to $6,858...

$ 6 8 5 8

...everything is wrong. ARP: $8,685, so she should've flopped instead. I would've also lost by flip-flopping.

Coming on down sixth is Antonia and the third IUFB is luggage (All).

Antonia: $550
Julie: $450
Cynthia: $600
Mark: $601

ARP: $650

Mark Siak hopes it's Easy as 1-2-3 to win a dinette (Tamiko), a guitar (Gabrielle) and a washer/dryer (Lanisha). Here are his guesses:

#1- Guitar
#2- Dinette set
#3- Washer/dryer

The prices:

1. Guitar- $749
2. Dinette- $1,099
3. Washer/dryer- $1,768

He's the first winner of the day, and to celebrate, piano music is played instead of the show's theme song! And he'll play the piano at the end of the show! Cool!

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Kylie ($650): $.95
Hector ($1,898): Nickel + Quarter = $.30
Mark ($4,266): 85 + $1 = OVER

Kylie's in the Showcase.

Next to hear Rich's words is Shona and the fourth IUFB is an eliptical trainer (Tamiko).

Shona: $1,200
Antonia: $2,400
Julie: $875
Cynthia: $1,500

ARP: $999

Julie Burkett, an attorney from St. Louis, plays Double Prices for a trip to Bangkok (Gabrielle & Lanisha). It's either $7,589 or $8,243, and the gameboard is modeled by Gabrielle today. Julie's pick is down to $7,589...she crashes and burns to nowhere.

Next contestant is John and the next IUFB is a grandfather clock (Lanisha).

John: $1,599
Cynthia: $1,501
Shona: $1,600
Antonia: $1,601

The top bidder in that tight IUFB, Antonia, plays Lucky Seven for a Pontiac Vibe (Gabrielle). First number is 1. Second number guess is 6...

$ 1 7 , _ _ _

...that costs her a dollar. Third number guess is 4...

$ 1 7, 6 _ _

...she's down to $4. Fourth number guess is 3...

$ 1 7, 6 9 _

...it's over for her. ARP: $17,695.

The last contestant today is David and the final IUFB is a pair of iPhones (Gabrielle & Lanisha).

David: $600
John: $500
Cynthia: $545
Shona: $601

ARP: $598, so Cynthia Coleman escapes the First Four Breakfast Club!

She now plays Hi-Lo for a bedroom (Tamiko) worth $6,200. The products are Aspercreme, mouth rinse, Gold Bond Lotion, Glad trash bags, creole injector and Ester-C. First pick is the lotion, which is $9.12. Second is the Aspercreme, which is $6.79. Her last pick is the mouthwash, which is $5.49 and results in a loss. She should've picked the Ester-C last instead at $12.99. The creole injector was $5.99 and the trash bags were $2.99.

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Cynthia ($598): 40 + 70 = OVER
Julie ($999): 55 + Quarter = $.80
Antonia ($2,345): $.85

Antonia possibly gets a second chance at a car (probably a nicer one) in the Showcase, and she gets the Top Winner spot there as well.

In the first Showcase, Tamiko's holding a model of a spleen. A prize that rhymes with spleen is a sewing machine. This is a rhyming showcase. Second, in order for Gabrielle to avoid having to follow all of the dreaded prison rules, she needs to break free from imprisonment with some new power tools. Finally, Lanisha can forget about putting on a coat, because she's going to use her new Reinell 18" ski boat!

ANTONIA PASSES TO KYLIE; KYLIE BIDS $6,000 ON BOAT SHOWCASE- GARF OF THE CENTURY

MY BID FOR BOAT SHOWCASE: $19,150

(You know, in the event both Showcases are very cheap today, her bid might actually be a blessing in disguise.)

For Antonia, Rich's playing some charades! First, he tells us you can win a year's supply of flowers (Tamiko) without holding his breath. Second, while being held upside down by Gabrielle and Lanisha, he tells us that you can also win a Nintendo video arcade game! Finally, after inhaling some of a balloon's helium, he announces that the final prize is a pair of Harley-Davidson motorcycles (Tamiko)! I think this is also a Showcase of the Year nominee!

ANTONIA BIDS $18,000 ON CHARADES SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR CHARADES SHOWCASE: $20,000

Just before the final commercial break, Mark, the only Pricing Game winner today, gets to play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the piano!

DIFFERENCE: $3,620- WIN!

Antonia wins $23,965 in stuff today.

WOF: Last night, we had the season's first $100,000 loss. That could be a bad omen for this week; in four of the six weeks where we got skunked in Bonusland last season, there was a $100,000 loss.
