Early on, Matty feels like he is in the most danger of being voted out at Tribal Council amongst the five remaining Fang members. Soon after we hear him, here comes this Tree Mail:
"It will be fun, long drives and short putts, you may need more practice than anyone thinks. A once in a lifetime 'cultural trip' for those who perform best on the links."
Reward Challenge: Both tribes launch a ball from a slingshot until they get one into a hole. The tribe who uses fewer shots wins that hole. This is a best 2 out of 3 match; the winners go to a village to eat and sleep for the night. Corrine sits this challenge out for Fang.
KOTA: 3 (1-0)
FANG: 3 (TIED)
And for the first time in a while, Sugar will definitely NOT be going back to Exile Island! This time, Bob's going over there. Bob is NOT aware that Sugar already claimed the Immunity Idol from there a long time ago. As it turns out, though, by the time he leaves Exile Island, he's wearing a decoy Idol.
Here's the next Tree Mail:
"Today it's not important if you're faster, stronger or smarter. To avoid going home tonight, be the best first starter."
Just as the rules for the next Immunity Challenge are about to be announced, the remaining nine contestants learn that they've reached the MERGER!
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: This is the same set a fire challenge that might sometimes be used for Tribal Council tiebreakers in past seasons. This time, the winner gets individual immunity.
And that lucky person is...
...Suzie Smith! She was in a tight battle with Sugar there.
TRIBAL COUNCIL: Neither Sugar nor Charlie use their Immunity Idol. Sugar doesn't get any votes at all. HOWEVER, Charlie's involved in a tight vote against Crystal. By a vote of 5-4, the second player demoted to the jury this season is...
...Charlie Herschel, meaning he's the first contestant this season to WASTE AN IMMUNITY IDOL. OUCH.
