TPIR: This is Day 3 of Amanda Week. We start with Cassandra Davis, Denise Jenkins, Steven McDaniel and Luke Robert. The first IUFB is a pair of robotic vaccums (Brandi).

Luke: $250 (STUPID BID)
Steven: $485
Denise: $490
Cassandra: $500

ARP: $800, so Cassandra wins almost by default.

This Vegas birthday girl (she's celebrating her 28th) plays Super Pushover for a West White Potter Sailboat (Rachael & Tamiko)! Board:

158176705

I hope she stops at $17,670 for the win...but she gives a WILLY OF THE CENTURY and a ZONK ANSWER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE by instead saying $81,767!!! UGH.

(Upon further review, Cassandra reportedly didn't fully understand the fact that Pushover was playing for a five-digit prize instead of the usual four-digit prize; hence, she was trying to guess $8,176 for the boat before it was way too late. Still, I thought this should've been won.)

Trying to do so much better is Deborah Contreras and the second IUFB is a motorcycle (Rachael).

Deborah: $5,000 (STAGE WILLY)
Luke: $750
Steven: $1,850
Denise: BUCK (STUPID BID)

ARP: $3,349

Steven from Orange County, CA plays Ten Chances for a fan (Brandi), luggage (Brandi) and a Jeep Wrangler (Tamiko).

NUMBERS IN PLAY FOR FAN: 0, 4 & 5

1. $50- INCORRECT
2. $45- NO
3. $40- YOU BET

NUMBERS IN PLAY FOR LUGGAGE: 0, 5, 6 & 7

4. $650- INCORRECT
5. $750- NO
6. $570- WRONG
7. $560- NO
8. $675- NO
9. $760- RIGHT

IN JEEP PRICE: 0, 1, 2, 4 & 9

FINAL GUESS: $24,910- NO

ARP of the Jeep was $21,490. Good try.

Bonnie then enters Contestant's Row sixth and the third IUFB is tennis equipment (Amanda).

Bonnie: $599
Denise: $400
Deborah: $150 (STUPID BID #2)
Luke: $151 (STUPID BID #2)

ARP: $958

Bonnie plays Switch? for an outdoor HDTV (Rachael) marked at $4,300 and a designer shoe collection (Tamiko) marked at $3,185. She leaves the prices alone...good move!

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Cassandra ($800): 40 + 45 = $.85
Steven ($4,149): 20 + 65 = $.85
Bonnie ($8,443): 50 + 95 = OVER

SPIN-OFF:
Cassandra: $.80
Steven: $.75

Doggone it, Cassandra's in the Showcase.

Coming on down next is Cody Burke and the fourth IUFB is dumbells (Brandi).

Cody: $890
Denise: $995
Deborah: $650
Luke: BUCK

ARP: $1,390

Denise from Columbus, OH plays Pick a Pair for a Broyhill bedroom group (Amanda) worth $7,069. Products today are Hot Pockets, Jiffy Time popcorn, baby wipes, lowfat yogurt, energy bar and vitamin water. She picks the wipes first, which are $3.99. She thinks the other $3.99 item is the water...yes, despite the fact that she doesn't shop!

Then comes Lisa Block (not sure if she's related to Jason) and the next IUFB is flatware (Amanda & Tamiko).

Lisa: $1,175
Deborah: $1,000
Luke: $1,300
Cody: $1,301

ARP: $1,589

That extra buck of Cody's means this Rutgers University computer lab manager plays Dice Game for a Chevrolet Impala (Rachael; dice brought by Brandi & Tamiko). First number is 2; terrible directing by Bart during the car reveal (I wasn't a fan of the green screen action behind it, either).

Second digit rolled: 5- NO; LOWER
Third digit rolled: 2- NO; HIGHER
Fourth digit rolled: 6- NO; LOWER
Fifth digit rolled: 2- NO; HIGHER

A fan of this game gets a deserving win here! ARP: $24,615.

After William Smith gets called on down last, he accidentally runs up on stage before having to go down to Contestant's Row. The day's last IUFB is a set of workout running shoes (modeled by Robert & Elina). Luke's been here since the beginning of the day.

William: $799
Lisa: $1,025
Deborah: $600
Luke: $601

ARP: $836

HEADED TO THE BAD CLUBHOUSE: Luke

William can now get on stage for real, because he's playing Coming or Going for an outdoor kitchen (Tamiko). If he thinks he's Coming, his guess would be $7,995. If he's Going, his guess would then be $5,997. He goes with Coming/$7,995 and wins, making it a perfect second half for the second straight day! We've also ended a show with four straight winners for the second straight day, as well!

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Denise ($8,459): 35 + 95 = OVER
William ($8,831): $.85
Cody ($26,204): 15 + 20 = $.35

William gets the Top Winner spot in today's Showcase, and I'm so hoping he wins it.

The first Showcase has a barrel sauna (Amanda), a Broyhill living room (Brandi) and a home theater system (Rachael).

WILLIAM BIDS $19,450 ON FURNITURE SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR FURNITURE SHOWCASE: $17,550

Cassandra's Showcase begins with a Nintendo Wii package that includes a 40" LCD HDTV (Tamiko). Second, you can hear the word "Oui" lots of times on your trip to Paris (Brandi). Finally, you'll say "Whee!" if you should win a 2009 Chevy Equinox (Std., Steps)(Rachael). I'm fearing the worst on Cassandra's bid.

CASSANDRA BIDS $31,000 ON TRIP/CAR SHOWCASE- STAGE GARF (Covers just the car and the game package)

MY BID FOR TRIP/CAR SHOWCASE: $37,500

CASSANDRA'S SHOWCASE:
BID: $31,000
ARP: $39,886

DIFFERENCE: $8,886

WILLIAM'S SHOWCASE:
BID: $19,450
ARP: $16,616
OVER- CASSANDRA WINS

Thanks to learning from her big mistake at the start of the show, Cassandra wins $40,686 in prizes! Happy birthday!

WOF: The opening Toss-Up category is Thing:

G A R _ _ N T

B _ _

Daneene wins $1,000 with GARMENT BAG.

$5,000 WINNING ID OF THE NIGHT: BB0021797

Tonight's players:

Daneene Johnson (Frederick, MD)- School of the Masses student
Charlie Bell (Bloomfield Hills, MI)- Michigan State junior studying construction management and a hockey player
Annelle Lee (Anniston, AL)- Artist/writer for children's books

$2,000 Toss-Up category is Fun & Games:

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ G

R _ P E

Daneene is incorrect with JUMPING ROPE; Charlie instead gets the $2,000 with SKIPPING ROPE.

An Ireland tour from Brendan Worldwide Vacations worth $6,466 goes on the wheel and the Round 1 category is Before & After. Early on, Annelle hits the right Bankrupt of the Million Dollar Wedge to lose $750. Daneene immediately then hits the other one, as does Charlie a few turns later. Later, Daneene calls a D for $300 and the Free Spin, and we have...

_ E _ T _

_ R _ A N

L E _ E N D

...she calls a $300 G, buys the I, but spins Lose a Turn next, so she uses the Free Spin. Next comes an H for the Wild Card but then a dud of Y. Charlie spins Lose a Turn. Annelle calls a $450 K, a $300 B and solves KEITH URBAN LEGEND for $1,400.

DUDS: M, S, Y
BANKRUPTS: 3 (Everybody)

Campbell's Soup Jackpot/Prize Puzzle Round category is Event. Annelle immediately gets the left Bankrupt of the MDW, meaning everybody's hit that particular spot tonight. Speaking of that, you can make that four times, because Daneene quickly hits it too; she loses her Wild Card as a result. Charlie hits Lose a Turn for the second time tonight after calling a $300 T. Annelle later loses $200 to a regular Bankrupt. Daneene then calls three R's for the trip but then calls a dud in S. After Charlie buys the O, the board reads as follows:

_ _ N _ L E

R _ _ E R _ O _ T

R _ D E

He next calls a dud in M. Annelle calls a $500 B and buys two I's and the A. Next, she strikes out with the C. Daneene calls a $500 V while on Jackpot. For a $9,500 Jackpot...she's stumped. She then loses her turn with P. Charlie also misses with F. Annelle then calls a $3,500 J and solves JUNGLE RIVERBOAT RIDE to win that amount plus a Belize trip, a new total of $12,220 in cash and trip.

DUDS: C, F, M, P, S
BANKRUPTS: 3 (2 by Annelle; Daneene)

WINNING ID FOR TRIP: TH7395666

Meineke Mystery Round category is What Are You Doing? Daneene hits a regular Bankrupt right off the bat, making it seven Bankrupt hits so far tonight. Charlie gets Lose a Turn for the third time tonight after calling a pair of G's for a grand. After Annelle buys the E's, we have showing...

_ _ T T _ _ G/T _ E/_ _ _ _ G/_ _/T _ E/

_ _ _ E

...I think I know already. She calls the N's for $2,100, then buys the I's, calls the C's for another $7,000, buys the O and solves PUTTING THE ICING ON THE CAKE for another $9,750 and $21,970 total!

BANKRUPTS: 1 (Daneene)

$3,000 Toss-Up category is Living Things:

_ A _ E

O _ C _ _ _ S

Annelle is incorrect with LIVE ORCHIDS. Charlie then solves RARE ORCHIDS to go to $5,000. Speed-Up Round category is Phrase and Annelle's not going to like this- $6,000 is on offer for every consonant! On Charlie's second turn, here's the board:

_ _ _ S _/_ _ T/N _/

_ _ _ _ _

I think I already know. Charlie calls the ending R but can't solve for $12,000. Annelle calls the B but also can't solve for $12,000. Daneene calls the L but also misses for $12,000. Charlie calls the C's and solves CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR for $24K and the championship with $29,000! Annelle leaves with $21,970 in cash and trip and Daneene has $1,000.

So far, a respectable $51,970 in cash and trip has been given away tonight!

Big Money Round: Charlie spins the R in AMERICA'S and the category is Event. Starting with:

_ L _ _ _ _ T

I think I know already. He calls C, M, P and O and gets...

_ L O _ O _ T

...he scores a $40,000 BLOWOUT victory, giving him $69,000 in cold, hard cash to take home!

She didn't know it was a five-digit prize? What an unbelievable moron. How Stan got her on the show...

A) Drew said personally there were five digits.
B) Drew read out five-digit prices as each possible price moved into the window.
C) Just ONE look at the blue window would have helped. I don't know how you didn't look at the window when you were pushing...and if you were just pushing blindly and let the audience tell you where to stop...
D) The audience booed louder than a soprano after seeing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. You should at least look at your guess.
E) Drew said you'd chosen $81,767. You didn't change it, and then claim afterwards that you didn't want to pick $81,767. Well, then why didn't you change it once you saw what you picked?

Cassandra deserved every ridicule that got thrown at her by Drew during the break.
