Important notes

-When "The Price is Right" celebrated 4,000, 5,000 and 6,000th episodes, they celebrated each of those milestones on an episode that technically WASN'T the respective milestone episode. The 4,000 episode celebration took place on the 3,992nd episode, the 5,000 episode celebration took place on the 5,132nd episode and the 6,000 episode extravaganza happened on the 6,145th taped episode. So, it's doubtful the 7,000th episode celebration will take place before the end of the season; if there is a 38th season, there will definitely be one sometime down the road.

-Last Friday's "Jeopardy!" champion, Priscilla Ball, was unable to defend her title the next episode (Monday's) because she has some sort of illness. She will return in the near future to make her first title defense. Thus, for the first time since the unlimited wins rule was adopted back in the 20th season (and since July 2003), three new players were introduced at the beginning of a regular civilian episode.

-Becuase of the widespread pre-emptions in my area due to the Presidential Inauguration, I will only be recapping "American Idol" and "The Biggest Loser" Tuesday.
