TPIR: Let's begin this show with Christine Izquirdo, Daniel Luna, John Peters and Margaret Gartin. The first IUFB is an oversized chess set (Rachael).
John: $250 (STAGE GARF)
Daniel plays One Away for a Ford Focus SE (Std., AT, ALB/VSC, Prot, Lighting, Cargo, Mats)(Gwendolyn). Board:
$ 2 8 , 6 8 1
$ 1 7 , 5 7 0
For the second straight time in this game, a contestant goes all reds on the first try. He gets...three honks from the Mighty Sound Effects Lady. He then gives a ZONK ANSWER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE with a final guess of $17,772. Believe it or not, he actually got the last number right (2). The ARP was $19,572. Tough playing today.
Trying to do much better than he did with his game is the fifth participant named Jennifer Harris and the second IUFB is a treadmill (Brandi).
Margaret, who uses the Twitter system, plays Pushover for a trip to Spain (Gwen & Rachael). Board:
She guesses $8,594, my guess as well...
...not enough. It was $9,446.
Sixth to get called on is Joy Ford and the third IUFB is a portable bar (Brandi & Gwen).
Christine, a CSULA student getting a degree in Psychology, plays Check Out for an IKEA kitchen (Rachael) worth $5,308. Remember, this game hasn't been lost so far this season when it's played for anything but a car. Products today are NesQuik chocolate milk, lip balm, Campbell's Soup, Gold Bond Lotion (not the ultimate healing variety) and Hot Pockets Value Pack. Her guesses:
Lip balm: $1.50
Hot Pockets: $4
TOTAL GUESS: $15.50
Lip balm: $2.99
Hot Pockets: $5.25
ACTUAL TOTAL: $16.03
DIFFERENCE: $.53- WIN!
The non-car winning streak in this game continues!
SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Daniel ($1,142): 15 + 60 = $.75
Margaret ($2,099): WINS $1,000!
Christine ($6,860): 95 + 15 = OVER
In Margaret's Bonus Spin...a dime.
Coming on down next is Esequiel Gallegos and the next IUFB is luggage (Gwen).
John, who's wearing what I think is a military picture of Drew on his shirt, plays Cliff Hangers for an Ashley living room plus Victoria's Secret clothes, a total prize package worth $3,992 (Rachael). The SPs modeled by Brandi today are a popcorn popper, a desktop speaker/amplifier and a small fan. His guess for the popcorn popper is $15...it's just $13. He then makes a guess of $17 for the speaker...that's $25, so the mountain climber's taken ten steps so far. Therefore, John must get the ARP of the fan within $15 high or low, a spread of $30. His bid for the fan is $22...but it's $40 and he loses by three bucks. Therefore, he only wins from here the first two SPs (hence, losing on the first SP in this game means winning absolutely nothing).
Next up is Stephanie Tomerlin and the next IUFB is four chrome wheels/tires (Rachael). I think we should know what the winner of this will get to play for next.
Esequiel from Riverside, CA plays Super Squeeze Play for a Chevrolet HHR (Brandi). Board:
He removes...the 5 and wins the $20,380 car! I wasn't so sure he was going to win.
(The reason he won? His friend works at a Chevy dealer! This fact gets revealed during the second Showcase Showdown.)
The day's final player is Shane Newman and the final IUFB is cookware (Brandi).
Jennifer, a Tennessee lady who's been waiting for 30 years to get up on stage, plays Easy As 1-2-3 for a home gym (Rachael), personal accessories (Gwen) and an offroad bike (Brandi).
#2: Home gym
Home gym: $1,795
She wins! My order would've instead been the gym, the bike and the accessories (I thought the accessories were about $3,000).
Starting this week, because I've heard lots of people on Golden-Road.net complain about the Pricing Game lineups that Adam Sandler's set up as of late, I'm going to put together each day's Pricing Game lineup as I would've done if I didn't like a good part of the lineup. Here's my Tuesday lineup:
2. Cliff Hangers
3. One Away
4. Check Out
5. Easy As 1-2-3
6. Squeeze Play
If you always want to play a quickie game last, Adam, try doing Squeeze Play or Pushover for a car in the future.
SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
John ($1,168): $.85
Jennifer ($5,717): Quarter + 80 = OVER
Esequiel ($23,280): 50 + 30 = $.80
John goes to the Showcase.
The first Showcase starts on the waters with a kayak (Rachael; features the dreaded green screen towers). Second, travel on land with a Segway (Gwen). Finally, travel by plane to the Galapagos Islands (Rachael). Fireball Special Showacase Alert.
MARGARET PASSES TO JOHN; JOHN BIDS $15,000 ON TRAVELING SHOWCASE
MY BID FOR TRAVELING SHOWCASE: $14,400
For Margaret, we have an Aico dining room (Brandi) and a trip to France (Gwen).
MARGARET BIDS $18,000 ON ROOM/TRIP SHOWCASE- POSSIBLE STAGE GARF
MY BID FOR ROOM/TRIP SHOWCASE: $25,000
DIFFERENCE: $7,525- WIN
John wins $23,693 in prizes.
DOND: The last three episodes have ended in DISASTER- yesterday, Pat McGee, thanks in part to being a little too concerned about paying off his student loan and relying too much on the audience, became the fifth contestant on the season to pass up the $500,000 at the end of the show; furthermore, had he gotten to the final two, he would've been in what I call the Chelsea Drake Scenario and he could've very well taken a record-setting deal of $313,000.
Let's see how better today's contestant plays- it's #20 Tiffany Collins (who is a payroll administrator for an engineering company). She swaps out for #15 (which sounds like a reasonable choice, since that had the penny yesterday).
1. #7 (Sandy)- $5
2. #11 (Gary)- $200
3. #4 (Angela)- $5,000
4. #22 (Kyle)- $50
5. #12 (Gia)- $25
FIRST OFFER: $30,000- NO DEAL
1. #6 (Marissa)- $100
2. #21 (Jason)- $10
3. #1 (Manizha)- $75,000
4. #10 (Cira)- BUCK
5. #8 (Valerie)- $25,000
SECOND OFFER: $36,000- NO DEAL
1. #2 (Rocco; he's an auctioneer)- $500
2. #16 (Wanda)- $7,500
3. #14 (Nicole)- $100,000 (DANGER ZONE ENFORCED; ONE OFF this amount)
4. #17 (Marilyn)- $400
THIRD OFFER: $42,000- NO DEAL
1. #18 (Vinny)- $2,500
2. #5 (Renee)- $500,000 (BIG STRIKE ONE)
FOURTH OFFER: $21,000- NO DEAL
1. #3 (Abigail; a dancer)- $1,000
2. #19 (Diego)- $50,000 (STRIKE TWO)
FIFTH OFFER: $26,000- NO DEAL
19th PICK: #13 (Chad)- PENNY
SIXTH OFFER: $53,000- NO DEAL
20th PICK: #9 (Kate)- $10,000 (NO SAFETY NET LEFT)
FINAL OFFER: $101,000- DEAL
The $250,000 was in...her original case of #20, so she made a great deal! Hence, her new case had $300. She's now the fourth-highest winner of the season!

Round 1 is tonight's Prize Puzzle Round and the category is Place. Out on the wheel now is an Alaskan Cruise from NCL and LeisureLarry.com worth $6,100. After Christi buys the O, we have...

...all the vowels are gone at this point. They call a $500 D, a $400 N and solves SECRET SANDY COVE for another $3,350 and a trip to St. Maarten, a new total of $14,510 in cash and trip.
WINNING ID FOR TRIP: DW03808
Campbell's Jackpot Round category is Husband & Wife, in order to tie in with this week's theme. Towards the middle of the round, Reina & Charles call an M for $300 and the Free Spin. After they buy the A's, let's look at the board:
_ A _ I _/&/_ I _ T _ R I A/
_ E _ _ H A M
...they call a $500 K while on Jackpot, and for a $8,450 Jackpot...can't do it. They then call a $3,500 B and buy the O to clean out the vowels, call the V for the Wild Card and solve DAVID & VICTORIA BECKHAM for $4,350.
DUDS: N (while on cruise), P, S
IHOP Mystery Round category is Before & After. Luanne & Doc spin Bankrupt after calling a $450 R to begin this round. Christi & Dom then land on the Mystery Wedge next to Lose a Turn and call six S's. They quickly take $6,000 for them (good, because that's the one with Bankrupt behind it). After they buy the E's, we have showing...
T _ E/_ E S T/S E _ T S/_ _/T _ E/
_ _ _ S E/_ _ E S S _ _ _
...they currently have $7,350 at stake this round. They then call the H's to pick up the cruise after failing to pick it up in the last round. After buying the A and the O, they call the N's for a $1,000 Sherri's Berries gift certificate and solve THE BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE DRESSING for another $6,850, the cruise and the gift tag, a new total of $28,460 in cash and prizes!
BANKRUPTS: 1 (Luanne & Doc)
$3,000 Toss-Up category is Person:

...they solve MOISTURIZING CONDITIONER to ice their cake by an additional $8,000, for a winning total of $36,460 in cash and prizes! Charles & Reina leave with $7,350 and Luanne & Doc get the $2,000 consolation.
So far, $45,810 in cash and prizes have been given away tonight.
Big Money Round: Christi & Dom spin the apostrophe and the category is Show Biz. Starting with:
T _/_ _ _ _ E
I think I got this even before the category showed up! As for them, they call M, C, P and O and get nothing. They get nowhere, and as it turns out, my guess of TV GUIDE...is wrong! It was TV JUDGE, but had they thought it was TV GUIDE as well by picking D, G, V & U, they still would've won. In any event, they lose the Mazda MX-5, but they do leave with $36,460 in cash and prizes.
