TPIR: It's time for the first-ever couples show! We start with Travis & Kimberly, Francis & Kathleen, Michael & Donna and Ian & Nancy. During the intro, the new video screen in the audience's displaying the show's logo with a Valentine's Day flavor. The first IUFB is a pair of his & her watches (Amber & Lanisha).

Ian & Nancy: $1,350
Michael & Donna: $999
Francis & Kathleen: $1,099
Travis & Kimberly: BUCK

ARP: $5,500 (a new daytime IUFB record)

Ian & Nancy, who are celebrating their 4th Anniversary together, play Let Em' Roll for, get this- a vintage 1975 Corvette Stingray Convertible (Brandi) worth $22,900! The groceries modeled by Lanisha today are Hot Pockets Value Pack, Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion & Ester-C (500 mg). Do they go higher twice for the three rolls...no, they said lower for the Ester-C. Prices:

Hot Pockets: $5.25
Lotion: $9.56
Ester-C: $13.99

Nancy's rolling the dice today.

1. CAR/CAR/CAR/CAR/$1,500- CONTINUES
2. WINS CLASSIC CAR!!!

This game has now been won three straight times (hence, the game's record with the new dice is 3-2)!

(Note: During yesteday's episode and today's episode, Rich's sporting a goatee.)

The fifth couple to hear the magic words is Gary & Cynthia Spears and the second IUFB is a year's supply of flowers (Brandi).

Gary & Cynthia: $725
Michael & Donna: $825
Francis & Kathleen: $799
Travis & Kimberly: $499

ARP: $720

Because Gary & Cynthia were over by five bucks, Travis & Kimberly, who have been in a relationship for 1.5 years, play Freeze Frame for a trip to Hawaii (Amber with the audience video screen; the first time the screen was used was during one of yesterday's Showcases). The best possible prices on today's board are $3,923, $5,239, $6,684, $8,810 & $9,652. But they freeze $2,318 instead and lose. ARP: $3,923. I would've guessed $5,239 or $6,684 instead.

Jeffrey & Cristi are the day's sixth couple called on and the third IUFB is a 42" LCD TV (Lanisha; Rich's on the TV).

Jeffrey & Cristi: $1,200
Gary & Cynthia: $1,675
Michael & Donna: $1,225
Francis & Kathleen: $1,400

ARP: $1,499

Francis & Kathleen, who have been married for 20 years and have been together for 30 years overall, go to a Swap Meet to try and win a digital camera (Brandi), handbags (Lanisha), a baby's crib and a scooter (Amber). They must match up the ARP of the camera. They pick the scooter, which is $799...as is the camera!

(Note: Brandi's pregnant; she's expecting a couple of twins on June 12th!)

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Travis & Kimberly: $.90
Francis & Kathleen: 60 + 90 = OVER
Ian & Nancy: WINS $1,000 AND SHOWCASE BERTH!

Ian & Nancy's Bonus Spin...get them the nickel for another $10,000! That's three $11,000 Showcase Showdown wins so far this week! And during the commercial break, they get engaged!! That's just too cool!

Darrell & Vanessa come on down to the row next and the fourth IUFB is a glass door refrigerator (Brandi).

Darrell & Vanessa: $1,200
Jeffrey & Cristi: $2,100
Gary & Cynthia: $1,275
Michael & Donna: $2,101

ARP: $1,699

Gary & Cynthia, who have been married for eight years and have been together for a total of nine, play Lucky $even for a Mercury Milan (Std., Assist, Prot, Stereo)(Amber). Their second number guess is 4...

$ 2 1 , _ _ _

...not too good of a start. They then try 6 for the third number...

$ 2 1 , 3 _ _

...they're down to their last dollar. Let's see if they can somehow pull a Taylor Randall here today. Their fourth digit guess is 7...

$ 2 1 , 3 9 _

...but it's 9 and they lose the $21,397 car. The last number of 7 wasn't shown on TV, but that didn't matter to me since I'm a car geek. And this price was used in another Lucky $even playing earlier this season.

Javano & Natasha are next and Amber then brings down the next IUFB, a Tiffany bracelet.

Javano & Natasha: $1,500
Michael & Donna: $1,575
Darrell & Vanessa: $1,000
Jeffrey & Cristi: $1,576

ARP: $2,075

Jeffrey & Cristi play Punch a Bunch (big bill shown by Brandi). Today's SPs are modeled by Lanisha.

1. Nintendo Wii system
IS NOT: $70
GUESS: HIGHER- $90

2. AM/FM clock radio
IS NOT: $45
GUESS: LOWER- $59

3. Foot massage spa
IS NOT: $115
GUESS: LOWER- $99

4. Perfume
IS NOT: $50
GUESS: HIGHER- $70

They punch out holes #12, #25 and #10. Starting with #12...$1,000. They pass that for #25...and go down by the Power of 10 to $100. They then pass that up for what's in the top right corner...50 bucks and they lose.

The day's final selected couple is Linda & Hien and the final IUFB is a set of workout equipment (Brandi). The Connellys have been here the whole show.

Linda & Hien: $1,512
Javano & Natasha: $1,375
Michael & Donna: $899
Darrell & Vanessa: $18

ARP: $1,600

COUPLE HEADING TO THE HEARTBREAK BREAKFAST CLUB: Michael & Donna

Linda & Hien, who have been together for four years, play Double Prices for a waverunner (Lanisha), which is either $9,298 or $10,175. Amber handles the gameboard today. I say $9,298 and they agree...winners!

For the second straight day, no games get played on the turntable; where the heck has Any Number been? Here's my lineup today:

1. Freeze Frame
2. Punch a Bunch
3. Let' Em Roll
4. Double Prices
5. Swap Meet
6. Lucky $even

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Gary & Cynthia: $.70
Jeffrey & Cristi: 30 + 65 = $.95
Linda & Hien: Dime + 80 = $.90

We're now heading into the Showcase. So far, Ian & Nancy have won $39,400 in cash and prizes. If the prizes in their chosen Showcase are really, really nice and they win, they could become the season's biggest winners. Remember, the total to beat set by Randall on November 3rd is $79,897. Jeffrey & Cristi get the chance to deny them any shot of posting a new season high. And because this is a couples show, I just have this feeling at least one Showcase will end with a pair of cars. Let's see if I'm right.

The first Showcase is about traveling across America. We star with a two-day stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Second to appear on the audience video screen after that Beverly Hills trip is a trip to the Colorado Rockies. Then comes a trip to New Orleans with $1,000 spending money. Finally, after heading east a lot, go north and live in your own beach house in The Hamptons in Connecticut! The audience video screen gets modeled by Brandi in this Showcase.

IAN & NANCY PASS TO JEFFREY & CRISTI; JEFFREY & CRISTI BID $17,278 ON TRIPS SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR TRIPS SHOWCASE: $30,000

For Ian & Nancy, we start a home theater system (Amber) which includes a 60" DLP HDTV, a DVD player, a stereo system and a one year Netflix subscription. Then, we have a Broyhill king bedroom (Lanisha). Finally, the bad news is that this Showcase doesn't end with a pair of cars. The good news- the last prize is an Audi TT (Std., Technology)(Amber)!

IAN & NANCY BID $53,850 ON FURNITURE/CAR SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR FURNITURE/CAR SHOWCASE: $48,500

JEFFREY & CRISTI'S SHOWCASE:
BID: $17,278
ARP: $21,963
DIFFERENCE: $4,685

If the ARP of Ian & Nancy's Showcase is between $53,850 and $58,535, they are the season's biggest winners...

...BUT IT'S $50,250. Darn. Had they won, they would've been the biggest daytime winners in the Drew Carey era by just $482. And if they had bid an even 50 grand, they would've DSWed and would've been the third-highest daytime winners ever. Oh well, they still leave with $39,400 in cash and prizes! Jeffrey & Cristi win all four trips and $24,347 in cash and prizes total.

WOF: This is the Hawaiian finale. Tonight's first Toss-Up category is Thing:

T _ N D _ _

B _ C Y C _ E

Kim & Jeff both say TANDEM BICYCLE for $1,000.

$5,000-WINNING ID OF THE NIGHT: RC13199

Our last three couples of the week are:

Kim & Jeff Bach (Honolulu)- Kim's a media director for a communications company, while Jeff's a teacher at the children's center of University of Hawaii-Menoa; they've been married for 18 years
Byron & Kimberly Brown (Kihei, HI)- Kimberly owns the first drive-thru coffee company in Maui while Byron's a project manager/rock band musician; they've been married for nearly a year
Tammie & Arnold Akow (Kawaihae, HI)- Arnold's an installation technician for a local home theater company, while Tammie's a stay-at-home mom; they've been married for three years

$2,000 Toss-Up category is Around the House:

_ E I _ _ N G

_ _ N

Byron & Kimberly solve CEILING FAN for $2,000.

Round 1 category is Song Lyrics and out on the wheel now is a trip to NYC with two tickets to see the play "Jersey Boys", worth $7,300. This is a big puzzle. Midway in the round, Byron & Kimberly call two H's to pick up that trip. After they later buy the O's, we have...

_ O _ N _/TO/THE/_ H A _ E L/AND/

_ E ' _ E/_ O N N A/_ E T/_ A _ _ _ E D

...they call the G's for another $1,400 but then blow the solve big time with GOING TO THE CHAPEL AND WE'RE GOING TO GET MARRIED (adding an extra word in the process), likely costing them that trip and $10,050. Ouch. Tammie & Arnold call the R's for $1,200 and solve GOING TO THE CHAPEL AND WE'RE GONNA GET MARRIED to make that $2,000; everybody's on the board.

Campbell's Jackpot Round category is Phrase. Tammie & Arnold begin by calling an N for the Wild Card. After Kim & Jeff call the S's for $1,500, we have...

YOUR/_ U _ S S/_ S/_ S/_ O O _/

_ S/_ _ N _

...they then carefully solve YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE for another $2,000 and $3,000 total; they lead by a grand right now.

DUDS: L

IHOP Mystery/Prize Puzzle Round category is What Are You Doing? Kim & Jeff start off by calling three N's on the Mystery Wedge next to Lose a Turn. They take $3,000 for them (but that had $10,000 behind it). After Byron & Kimberly call a dud in L, Tammie & Arnold try to solve for a trip with this showing...

_ N _ _ _ I N G/A/_ _ _ _ _ N/

_ A _ G A _ I _ A

...they will be ENJOYING A FROZEN MARGARITA on a trip to Cancun worth $7,050, making their new total $9,050.

DUDS: L, S

WINNING ID FOR TRIP: KG08753

$3,000 Toss-Up category is Phrase:

FAMILY/_ W _ E D/&/

O P E R _ _ E _

Kim & Jeff solve FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED to double up to $6,000. Speed-Up Round category is Food & Drink and consonants are worth $6,000 each! That should make up for some lost time. After Byron & Kimberly call the L's, we have...

S L _ _ _/_ _/

_ _ N T _ L _ _ _ _

...to make up for their Round 1 blunder and win the match with 20 grand...they get SLICE OF CANTALOUPE! Tammie & Arnold leave with $9,050 and Kim & Jeff leave with six large.

DUDS: H

Big Money Round: Let's see if the Browns can end the four-week stay in Hawaii by multiplying their cash by six. They spin the single star and the category is Thing. Starting with:

_ _ _

_ E N _ _

I think it's ___ BENCH. They call D, C, G and I and get...

_ _ _

_ E N C _

...they thought of something FENCE, but it was some kind of BENCH as I originally thought, OAK BENCH. They needed two letters in the top word (especially the K) and needed to have quickly known the second word was BENCH to have had any shot at that. AND FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THREE SEASONS, A ROAD TRIP ENDS IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE- A $100,000 LOSS (sixth of the season).

The show ends with a clip of the Sajaks loving each other.

In four weeks, a total of $1,114,868 in cash and prizes has been given away in the Aloha State. We return home on Monday.

In two weeks during an extra episodes week, the 5,000th episode!

Video Bonus: About eight minutes of tonight's episode
