"American Idol" 3/11- FIRST TOP 13 ELIMINATION

The opening group performance consists of a medley of Jackson 5 songs.

The song performed in this week's Ford music video was "We Will Rock You" by Queen.

For at least this week, the elimination process has changed. If a contestant got one of the week's lowest vote totals, they must then sing the song they did last night one more time. If the judges don't save him/her after that, he/she is eliminated. The judges are allowed to save ONLY ONE singer for the remainder of the season, and this power will go out of play when we're down to five contestants.

The first person put into the Danger Zone is...

...Jasmine Murray. After doing "I'll Be There" one more time...

...she couldn't take advantage of her Wild Card spot- she's the first finalist eliminated this season.

The exit song this season is "Home Sweet Home" by Carrie Underwood.

Kanye West then performs his current single "Heartless".

After Kelly Clarkson does her hit single "My Life Would Suck Without You", the second contestant singing for their life is...

...Jorge Nunez. After once again doing "Beat It"...

...beat it, Jorge- you're gone, too.
