Syndicated "Deal" offically renewed

NBC Universal has officially renewed the syndicated "Deal or No Deal" for a second season. To cut costs, the show will relocate its tapings to the Sonalysts Studio in Waterford, CT. There's still no word yet on whether the primetime version of "Deal" will make the same move, much less return for another season at all.

Three other NBC Universal syndicated shows, "Maury", "Jerry Springer" and "The Steve Wilkos Show", will also tape in Connecticut next season (but those talk shows will instead tape in Stamford, CT, the hometown of WWE).
