TPIR: Episode 4782K starts off with Jimmy Sboukis, Donita Lyons, Matthew Hertzog and Kathryn Hawley. The first IUFB is a Dell computer system (Amber & Rachael).

Jimmy: $801 (STAGE GARF)
Donita: $900 (STAGE GARF)
Matthew: $950 (STAGE GARF)
Kathryn: $1,000

By default, Kathryn wins with the ARP being $1,423.

This Laguna Hills, CA native now plays Easy As 1-2-3 for an Ashley bar dinette (Amber), a bicycle (Lanisha) and a BBQ (Rachael).

#1- Bicycle
#2- BBQ
#3- Dinette

And the prices:

Bicycle: $749
BBQ: $2,249
Dinette: $1,199

The Peanut Gallery got her.

The fifth player is Nina Serrenho and the second IUFB behind the splitting sign is an LG washer/dryer (Amber).

Nina: $1,399
Jimmy: $1,499
Donita: $1,800
Matthew: BUCK

ARP: $1,599

Jimmy from the University of Texas plays It’s In the Bag (Lanisha & Rachael). Today’s groceries are NesQuik mix, Gold Bond Powder, a small bag of gummy worms, Gorton’s Grilled Salmon, Capzasin HP and Clorox 2. His guesses:

$1.29: Gummy worms
$14.09: Capzasin HP (originally considered the fish)
$5.99: Clorox
$3.59: Powder
$4.49: NesQuik

The first two are right for $2,000. He goes on with the Clorox…right for $4,000…but he goes on with the powder and loses, because that’s the day’s dud grocery item. The salmon was actually in the $3.59 bag and he had the NesQuik right.

Next to “Come on Down” is Dandy Dane from the U.S. Postal Service and the third IUFB is a Wakekite package (Lanisha at Door #3).

Dandy: $550
Donita: $750
Matthew: $1,849
Nina: BUCK

ARP: $1,399

Donita from Northern California plays Money Game for a Hyundai Elantra (Fairly loaded)(Rachael at Door #2). Board:

(18)(85)(76)
(40)(20)(99)
(65)(54)(19)

MIDDLE NUMBER: 4 ($ _ _ , 4 _ _)

She gets 18 as the first two numbers no sweat
($ 1 8 , 4 _ _)…and she wins the $18,476 Hyundai two picks later plus $85 in gas money just for completing that top line!

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Kathryn ($1,423): 30 + 95 = OVER
Jimmy ($1,599): $.75
Donita ($19,960): 60 + 20 = $.80

She falls just short of getting a dollar total on her second spin, but Donita still makes it to the Showcase!

Coming on down next is Amy Andrencci and the fourth IUFB is a billiards table (Amber & Lanisha at Door #3).

Amy: $1,350
Matthew: $1,199
Nina: $1,800
Dandy: $2,000

ARP: $1,400

Amy, an event planner from Kinosha, WI, plays Switch? for a multi-station home gym marked at $3,590 (Rachael) and a steam shower marked at $2,495. She makes the Switch…and wins!

Next to enter the blue area of Contestant’s Row is Chris Maus and the next IUFB is a portable GPS receiver (Rachael).

Chris: $450
Matthew: $640
Nina: $645
Dandy: $646

ARP: $1,286

Dandy, a mail handler for a Bakersfield, CA post office, plays One Away (Lanisha) for a Subaru Forester 2.5X (Std., BCover, Guards, Spoiler)(Amber). Starting price:

$ 3 2 , 3 8 4

First guess:

$ 2 3 , 4 7 5

The Mighty Sound Effects Lady gives him…ONLY ONE HONK!!! First time in the Drew Carey era that has happened! He then changes the last four digits and wins the $21,293 car! I think that’s a Broken Fingers moment- this was probably the only way he could’ve won today’s playing!

(I would’ve won in two tries; my first guess would’ve been $21,295.)

Rich then appears on our magic screens to call on today’s last player, Nancy Klix, and the final IUFB on the turntable is a Dean guitar (being played by Ellie Handle from said manufacturer). Matthew’s been here the whole show.

Nancy: $700
Chris: $850
Matthew: $899
Nina: BUCK

ARP: $819

BOOTED TO THE CLUBHOUSE BY $80: Matthew

Nancy from Denver plays Secret X for women’s designer clothing (Amber) and a Dev Valencia diamond pendant (Amber), a prize package worth $4,681. Her first X placement:

(--)(??)(--)
(--)(??)(--)
(--)(??)(X)

Today’s SPs are modeled by Rachael:

Music player: $79 or $96?
Massage pad: $100 or $137?

She goes with $79 for the music player…yes indeed. Then, she goes with $137 on the massage pad…incorrect. Final board:

(X)(??)(--)
(--)(??)(--)
(--)(??)(X)

Is that Secret X in the middle?...

(X)(--)(--)
(--)(X)(--)
(--)(--)(X)

…yes, so we end the day with four straight winners! I believe this was the easiest playing of the season so far.

My lineup today:

1. Easy As 1-2-3
2. It’s In the Bag
3. Money Game
4. Switch?
5. Secret X
6. One Away

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Nancy ($5,579): 45 + 45 = $.90
Amy ($7,485): 60 + 50 = OVER
Dandy ($22,579): 20 + 30 = $.50

Nancy goes to the Showcase to face Donita.

The first Showcase has a Broyhill living room (Rachael at Door #3), a 42” JVC LCD TV (Rachael), a Panasonic home theater system (Rachael) and a trip to Hawaii (Amber at Door #2).

DONITA PASSES TO NANCY; NANCY BIDS $13,500 ON ROOM/TRIP SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR ROOM/TRIP SHOWCASE: $17,777

Donita then goes for dirty prizes. First, go paintballing during your trip to Las Vegas (Lanisha at the audience screen). Second, go cavern exploring in Switzerland (Lanisha at the audience screen). Finally, cruise the dirt roads with a pair of KTM dirt bikes (Amber at Door #1).

DONITA BIDS $18,570 ON DIRTY SHOWCASE

MY BID FOR DIRTY SHOWCASE: $16,567

NANCY’S SHOWCASE:
BID: $13,500
ARP: $16,501
DIFFERENCE: $3,001

DONITA’S SHOWCASE:
BID: $18,570
ARP: $20,929
DIFFERENCE: $2,359- WIN!

Donita wins $40,889 in cash and prizes!

(The shown total of $40,804 was incorrect because they apparently forgot about the extra $85 she won during Money Game.)
