The first two dance crews to perform on this episode, and therefore safe, are…
…Afroborike and We Are Heroes!
This week, each group has to incorporate a type of martial arts into their routine.
1. Afroborike- “I Know You Want Me” by Pitbull
Unfortunately for them, they end up turning in the weakest performance of the season so far according to all three judges.
2. We Are Heroes- “Starstruck” by 3OH!3
Lil’ Mama said they continue to make no sense, in a good way. JC & Shane, however, said the performance started slowly
Now, let’s get to Rhythm City and Vogue Evolution. The first group to face elimination this week are…
3. Vogue Evolution- “Work” by Ciara featuring Missy Elliott
Assignment: Kung Fu
JC said that performance woke him up in a positive way, although it was chaotic at times. Shane absolutely hated the performance, but Lil’ Mama agreed with JC.
The other crew in danger of being sent home are…
…Southern Movement- that’s their second Sudden Death appearance.
4. Massive Monkees- "Bounce" by MSTRKRFT
Assignment: Extreme Martial Arts
Shane said that was a very exciting routine, but criticized them because only one of their members did the 540. JC said they were mostly clean and fresh. Lil’ Mama said it was an action-packed performance.
5. Beat Ya Feet Kings- “Chillin’” by Wale featuring Lady GaGa
Assignment: Tae Kwan Do
Lil’ Mama said the crew was slow-paced and clean. Shane suggested that they stop watching stuff on YouTube, because he’s seen some of the same dance moves over and over again. JC said most of their choreography was very upright.
SUDDEN DEATH FACE-OFF:
Rhythm City: “La La La” by LMFAO
Assignment: Muay Thai
Southern Movement: “Ugly” by Bubba Sparxxx
Last week, Southern Movement was safe…
…this week, they’ve been eliminated.
