"America's Best Dance Crew" 9/6

IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING NOTE: Because of the Video Music Awards, next week's episode will air at a special time- 7 PM EST. That episode will have a VMA theme to it.

This week, the dance crews will be showcasing some dance crazes that are also the names of certain songs. The first team in the bottom two this week are...

...believe it or not, Vogue Evolution. What might have influenced their decision is that one team member, Leiomy Maldonado (the only female member of that crew), walked out during one of the crew's rehearsals last week.

1. Afroborike- "Swag Surfin'" by Fast Life Yungstaz

Shane gave them credit for not watering it down. Lil' Mama said the movement of the performance was kinda slow. JC thought it was good but not great.

The other crew in danger of being cut tonight are...

...We Are Heroes. This is the second time in a row they've been in the bottom two, which is not a good sign.

2. Massive Monkees- "Do the Ricky Bobby" by B-Hamp

Lil' Mama said that was a great performance because they made great use of their props (including some cameras) and maintained themselves. JC said they lucked out with this week's performance. Shane said they did a fantastic job groovying in their performance.

3. Rhythm City- " You're a Jerk" by New Boyz

JC said it started slowly but said it was a good number overall. Shane wanted to see more jerking. And Lil' Mama said it was the most exciting performance of the night thus far.

SUDDEN DEATH FACE-OFF:

We Are Heroes: "Stanky Legg" by G-Spot Boyz
Vogue Evolution: "Halle Berry (She's Fine)" by Hurricane Chris featuring Superstarr

Has Vogue Evolution's journey come to a screeching halt just before Labor Day?...

We Are Heroes
Vogue Evolution

...YES. Darn. After this season is over, IMHO, I don't think this crew should have Leiomy as a member anymore.
