"Dancing with the Stars" 9/28

Len Goodman had the week off, so replacing him on the juding panel this week was Australian director Baz Luhrmann.

Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough were first up with a Jive to "What I Like About You" by Lillix.

Natalie Coughlin & Alec Mazo were second, performing the Quick Step to "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5. They got nothing but...7's.

Team #3 consisted of Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya. They did the night's first Tango to
"Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes.

Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas then performed the evening's second Jive to Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally".

Tackling the dance floor next were Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova with a Quick Step to "Too Darn Hot" by Ella Fitzgerald.

Debi Mazar & Maksim Chermovskiy followed them with a Tango to "El Tango de Roxanne" from "Moulin Rouge". They picked up triple...7's for that performance.

Headed onto the stage next were Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower. Their Jive was set to The Primitives' "Crash".

Having to dance the Quick Step to the theme song of "The Muppet Show" next were Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff. They got from all three judges...a 9, giving them 27 and the lead for the moment!

Trying to follow that great performance were Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amistel. With the Tango as their assignment, their background song was "Take Me On the Floor" by The Veronicas.

Kathy Ireland & Tony Dovolani took on the Tango next; their dance song was "Shall We Dance?" from "The King and I". They earned triple...6's, putting them in last place for now.

Next to take the dance floor were Mark Dacascos & Lacey Schwimmer. Also being assigned the Quick Step, the song they had to dance to was "King of Swing" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Each judge gave them a...7.

Afterwards, Mya & Dmitry Chaplin had to Jive to "Would You...?" by Touch and Go. After the judges had their say...this team learned they were tied for the lead at 27 apiece (they got three 9's)!

In the next-to-last performance slot were Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke. Their Tango was set to "Por Una Cabeza" by the Tango Project...and this team tied for last, also with a trio of 6's.

Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson wrapped up the evening's action with a Jive to "Secret Agent Man" by Johnny Rivers.

On Tuesday's results show, the USC Marching Band will be showcased in the Macy's Stars of Dance segment. Also, Selena Gomez will sing "Falling Down" and Joss Stone will perform both "Free Me" and "Son of a Preacher Man".
