Another "Millionaire" 10th Anniversary run update

The list of celebrities who will be challenged at the end of every episode of the "WWTBAM" 10th Anniversary series are:

Lauren Conrad (playing for the M. Powerment Fund)
Snoop Dogg (playing for his Youth Football League)
Patricia Heaton (playing for the Westside Pregnancy Clinic and Lighthouse Medical Missions)
Shawn Johnson (playing for Blank Children's Hospital)
Steve Nash (playing for his self-titled charity, The Steve Nash Foundation)
Katy Perry (playing for St. Jude's)
Rachael Ray (playing for Yum-O and ASPCA)
Sherri Shepherd (playing for March of Dimes)
Vanessa L. Williams (playing for The Maria Torres Emerging Artist Project at the Amas Musical Theatre)
Wynonna (playing for Backpack Mission Ministries)

The last celebrity is being kept as a surprise, but some people are speculating that it may be syndicated host Meredith Viera.

Also, CNN senior political correspondent Candy Crowley will be added to the list of potential Ask the Expert guests.

Syndicated "5th Grader" station for Richmond, VA market revealed!

During a commerical break while I was watching tonight's "So You Think You Can Dance" results show, I have just received word that WRLH FOX 35 has picked up the syndicated version of "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader"! Additionally, that version of the show will begin on September 21st (the same day as the 38th season premiere of "The Price is Right").

"So You Think You Can Dance" 7/30- FINALISTS DETERMINED

Tonight's opening group performance is set to "Send in the Clowns" by Judy Collins. This was choreographed by Tyce Diorio.

The first contestant to move on to the finals is...

...Jeanine Mason! After that, Season 4's Jessica King & Will Wingfield perform another Tyce Diorio routine, this time being a Contemporary one, to "Silence" from the movie "Unfaithful".

Evan Kasprzak has NEVER been in the danger zone in any way shape or form. Has that changed tonight?...

...possibly- it's actually Brandon Bryant who's the first guy to move on to the finale. Please remember that no bottom two is revealed on either side for this results show. Afterwards, Katee Shean & Stephen "Twitch" Boss dance an Emmy-winning Contemporary routine choreographed by Mia Michaels to "Mercy" by Duffy.

Next, last season's big winner Joshua Allen & new "Dancing with the Stars" pro Chelsie Hightower dance the Argentine Tango to "A Los Amigos" from the original Broadway version of "Forever Tango". This was choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin.

The original winners of "America's Best Dance Crew", JabbaWockeeZ, then perform a number to "Freak-a-Zoid" by Midnight Star.

Chelsie then returns to dance some Hip-Hop with Mark Kanemura while "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis is playing; this routine was created by Napoleon & Tabitha.

Sean Paul is tonight's musical guest, singing "So Fine", the first single of his new album "Imperial Blaze".

And now, the moment of truth. Joining Brandon & Jeanine in next week's finals are...

...Kayla Radomski & Evan! That means neither Melissa Sandvig or Ade Obayomi could carry over the momentum of their incredible second routine last week and will have to settle for doing exhibition dances on next week's two-hour season finale.

"Big Brother XI" 7/30

Shortly after last week's Power of Veto decision, Ronnie Talbott was very happy over the results after manipulating the house last week.

THE VOTE: Will the Populars get wiped out, or will Casey Turner, currently in a banana suit, be forced to split? Let's find out.

1. Jeff: CASEY (1)

2. Ronnie: CASEY (2)

3. Natalie: CASEY (3)

4. Chima: CASEY (4)

5. Russell: JORDAN (1)

6. Michele: CASEY- EVICTED

The final vote was 7-1.

Then, Julie Chen breaks this news...THE CLIQUES ARE NOW GONE. Also, you folks at home will now decide who will be granted the power of Coup D'Etat that can be used anytime during the next two weeks. This player can overthrow the Head of Household by replacing one or both of the current eviction nominees. However, whoever is granted this power must keep it a secret at all times.
Text one of these players' numbers to 81818 unless you want to vote on CBS.com instead:

01- Chima Simone
02- Jeff Schroeder
03- Jessie Godderz
04- Jordan Lloyd
05- Kevin Campbell
06- Lydia Tavera
07- Michele Noonan
08- Natalie Martinez
09- Ronnie Talbott
10- Russell Kairouz

The voting closes Tuesday at midnight.

HOH COMPETITION #4: Inspired by everybody graduating from their cliques, the players are all hanging onto a rope while spinning in a circle. As time goes on, the circle's speed will get faster, and other surprises will be thrown in as well. Last one standing becomes the new HoH.
We'll find out who wins this Sunday night.

Another important summer schedule note

FOX has decided to yank this week's episode of "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" featuring Dean Cain in favor of a rerun of the new low-rated dating series "More to Love". Not sure what that network's thinking. The first-run civilian episode will still air as scheduled next Friday.

"I Survived a Japanese Game Show!" note

The second season (and likely series) finale of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show!", lasting about two hours long, will air next week. As a result, the season will end two weeks earlier than expected.

"So You Think You Can Dance" 7/29- SEMI-FINALS

This week's guest judge is Lil' C.

To start off, the top three guys perform a group routine choreographed by Sonya Tayek to "True Romance" by She Wants Revenge.

TEAM DANCES:

The first team in line are Jeanine Mason & Ade Obayomi. They first perform a Samba choreographed by former "Dancing with the Stars" pro Louis van Amstel to Lady GaGa's current #1 hit, "LoveGame". Second, they perform some Hip-Hop choreographed by Napoleon & Tabitha Dumo to "Move (If You Wanna)" by MIMS.

Second are Melissa Sandvig & Evan Kasprzak. Their first assignment is to do a Broadway routine choreographed by Tyce Diorio (the same one who choreographed Melissa & Ade's outstanding second team routine last week) to "Get Me To The Church On Time" by Matt Dusk from the play "My Fair Lady". Later on, they do the Quick Step in a routine choreographed by Louis van Amistel to "As Long As I'm Singin'" by The Brian Setzer Orchestra.

That means the third and final couple is made up of Kayla Radomski & Brandon Bryant. For their first performance, they have to perform a Contemporary dance choreographed by Stacey Tookey to "All I Want" by the Ahn Trio. Their other routine is choreographed by Doriana Sanchez- it's a Disco-style performance to "Dance (Disco Heat)" by Sylvester.

To close the show, the remaining three ladies do a group routine, also choreographed by Sonya Tayek, to the Stereoheroes remix of "Kick It" by Nina Martine.

SOLOS:

1-888-TEMPO-01: Kayla- "You Found Me" by The Fray
1-888-TEMPO-02: Ade- "18th Floor Balcony" by Blue October
1-888-TEMPO-03: Melissa- "I Put a Spell On You" by Nina Simone
1-888-TEMPO-04: Brandon "O' Fortuna" by Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg & Kurt Prestel (from "Carmina Burana")
1-888-TEMPO-05: Jeanine- "Feedback" by Janet Jackson
1-888-TEMPO-06: Evan- "Lady Is a Tramp" by Sammy Davis, Jr.

"I Survived a Japanese Game Show!" 7/29

It's that time again for the Green Tigers to send somebody to the Red Robots...instead of the lucky Cathy Grosam, they send Megan Bentley.

Advantage Challenge #7 ("Sour Milk For Kitty!"): While dressed as cats on a shaking staircase, one member at a time from each team must pour milk into their helmet attached to their head (the milk bowl comes from the top step of the staircase) before transfering it into the bowl at the bottom of the stairs. Two minutes are on the clock; the Robots go first.

The team that has more milk at the end are...

...the Tigers!

Main Challenge #7 ("Big Foot Bang Bang!"): One team member is placed inside a giant shoe costume and suspended by a wire while a teammate has to swing him/her into balloons thrown at them by the other team member into the opposing team's goal. The other team has a goalie that's wearing a giant cactus costume and is pulled into position by his/her teammates to block and/or pop the tossed balloons. The team that scores more goals within four minutes wins. The non-goalie and non-kicker players are wearing fruit & vegetable costumes.

The kickers are Megan & Cathy (who says soccer is her favorite sport), while the goalies are Dan Barbour & Linda Plaxen. The Tigers get a free kick for winning the last challenge (and Dan has to move off to the side). The bad news is that they miss it...

...BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THEY STILL CREAM THEIR OPPONENTS, 12-2!!!!! CATHY REMAINS UNDEFEATED IN TEAM CHALLENGES!!!

The Tigers get some Samurai lessons while the Robots have to learn making chopsticks after cutting some bamboo.

ELIMINATION GAME #7 ("You Look Funny Stuck On Wall!"): This challenge was done last season. Remember, each player has to run up to the sticky wall and fit themselves into each outline as perfectly as possible. The one who does this the best wins a round; four rounds wins the game.

Since the Robots couldn't decide, the Tigers decide to put in this elimination round...Dan (for the second time in a row and third time overall) and Justin Brown. Staying in the Japan, by a score of 4-1, will be...

Dan
Justin

...Justin, meaning Dan finally bows out of the competition.

"Big Brother XI" 7/28

POWER OF VETO COMPETITION #3: The extra three competing are Jeff Schroeder, Casey Turner (Jessie Godderz's not happy about this) and Chima Simone. The designated host is Natalie Martinez. The six competitiors are placed in pink suits and are wearing pig noses. Inside a gargantuan mud pit are several truffles; covered on the back of each one is a point value from 1-10. Everybody has to rope swing down to the pit to collect a truffle before going back to their board and either place the truffle there or discard it, depending on its point value. Each player is allowed to keep no more than four truffles. The one with the highest score after five minutes wins the Power of Veto. Also in the mud pit are some temptations, including bonus prizes.

After the time expires, six envelopes are presented and each contestant gets the option of picking an envelope or declining it. There are bonus point cards, penalty point cards and a few other surprises inside them.

Michele:
Envelope: CHOOSES #5- SEVEN POINT BONUS
Collected: 5 + 9 + 6 + 8 = 28
TOTAL: 35

Casey:
Envelope: CHOOSES #6- BANANA SUIT FOR ONE WEEK (he thought it would be a trip to the Bahamas)
Collected: 6 + 10 + Margarita Party + 6 = 22
TOTAL: 22

Chima:
Envelope: REJECTED
Collected: 8 + 6 + 7 + 4 = 25

TOTAL: 25

Jeff:
Envelope: CHOOSES #2- FIVE POINT PENALTY
Collected: 6 + 6 + 6 + 9 = 27
TOTAL: 22

Jordan:
Envelope: REJECTED

Collected: 5 + 6 + 7 + 6 = 24
TOTAL: 24

Jessie:
Envelope: CHOOSES #1- FIVE POINT BONUS

Collected: $2,500 + 7 + 10 + 9 = 26
TOTAL: 31- LOSS

As a result of all this, Jessie decides to replace Michele Noonan on the eviction block with...

...Casey. Talk about a double whammy!

"Hell's Kitchen" 7/28

We have some unfinished business to start this episode. After Joseph Tinnelly decides to try and instigate a fight against Chef Ramsay...

...HE GETS DISQUALIFIED!!!!

After the drama dies down, also getting eliminated is...

...Tony D'Alessandro.

Challenge #3: Be the first team to serve all the firefighters on their side of the restaurant. Some of the dishes include chicken alfredo, meatball marinara and garlic bread.

BTW, Robert Hesse is back on the Blue Team.

The winners are...

...the Red Team! Their first reward is a visit to the Pacific Water Spa. The Blue Team, however, are forced to clean up the firefighters' equipment outside (including the fire trucks).

After the Blue Team finishes up their punishment, Kevin Cottle injures both of his ankles while Dave Levey has a wrist injury. Both then go to the hospital.

DINNER SERVICE #3: Dave & Lovely Jackson are the waiters for this service. Van Hurd gets off to a good start with his risotto. Off to a bad start on the Red Team, though, is Tennille Middleton for cooking the scallops in too much grease. Robert also struggles with the scallops. Tennille later sets one of the pans on fire.

Later on, Lovely's having trouble as the waitress, then Amanda Davenport messes up a simple multiplication problem told by Chef Ramsay (3 X 3 = 9; she thought the answer was 6 instead)! She's definitely not smarter than a 5th Grader.

Thanks in part to Robert stalling on serving a salmon plate, the Red Team finish first.

But it all comes down to the customer comment cards. The Red Team's diners gave them an 81% approval rating. As for the Blue Team...

...they get an approval rating of 83%, so they win a close one!

ELIMINATION: Ariel Contreras nominates Lovely & Tennille. Does anybody else get eliminated tonight?...

...NOPE.

At the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, TX, the remaining five families compete in a blueberry pie-eating contest. Each family has 10 minutes to eat no more than half their given pie with their hands behind their backs and using only their mouths.

The family who's closer to the halfway mark on their pie without going over wins a $200 shopping spree in the cafe's gift shop...

There will be an End of the Road Challenge this week. The three families participating in it are...

Pam- $25,000+ ("20Q")

ZONK ANSWER OF THE WEEK: While most of the week's bad responses came on "Jeopardy!", former professional wrestler and current "Bullrun" host Bill Goldberg embarassed himself on "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" when he bombed out on his fourth question of the game, which asked for the number of letters that was in the plural form of the word "quiz", which is "quizzes". The answer was 7, but he and his partner Bryce said one less (6). That meant he became the first celebrity to become a TOTAL FLUNK OUT (though he still got $25,000 for his charity)

DISHONORABLE MENTIONS:
1. Stefan's "Whiffenpoof cheese" FJ! response which cost him over $20K in FJ!
2. Brent Philyaw's overly broad response on the $800 Stupid Answers clue during a DJ! round
3. Stefan's "Sound of silence" DJ! response

"Big Brother XI" 7/26

Based on what I've seen early on in this episode, Casey Turner could very well get nominated this week.

Have or Have-Not Competition #2: This time, one member from each clique competes- Chima Simone, Jordan Lloyd & Kevin Campbell. Here, while they're wearing goggles, they have to ride on a BB Cruiser and collect one of the many hanging ice cubes before placing it in one of the opposing cliques' spinning cups. The clique with the most cubes in their spinning cup after 15 minutes will be declared the week's Have-Nots and have to eat something that you folks at home determined earlier in the week.

Offbeats: 12

Populars: 11

Brains: 13- BUSTED

The Brains are the Have-Nots for the second time. And America has chosen as their special food items...cabbage & cocktail weines.

Now, let's see what you have a chance to give to next week's Have-Nots:

1. Squash & squid
2. Brussels sprouts & Borscht
3. Liverwurst & black licorice

Same voting rules apply.

THE PICKING ORDER:

1. Chima

Final pick: Ronnie

Jordan has been nominated for eviction a second time; joining her as of now is Michele Noonan. Apparently, there is an alliance going on between the Athletes & the Offbeats.

Sprint Round: Pam won the coin toss and decides to start this round.

Category: CELEBRITY

1. Actor
2. Born in 1956

She solves Tom Hanks with just two clues, which is a new record, at least for this round! The odds are strongly against Patrick here...

...it doesn't happen for him, so Pam wins the game for the ladies!

MASTER PUZZLE: The choices are ANIMAL and MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. She's more comfortable with ANIMAL.

1. Swim?- YES (254 possibilities)
2. Legs?- NO
3. Intelligent?- YES
4. Growls?- NO (179 possibilities)

At this point, she's thinking about making a guess of dolphin.

5. Long snout?- YES (27 possibilities)

She wisely decides to buzz in and guess dolphin, which was #2 on Mr. Q's list at this point. Some of the questions she didn't ask included if it's a mammal, if it had teeth, if you could pet it, if it lives out of water, if it jumps or if it can do tricks. With only five questions asked, she would set another record if dolphin happens to be right for the 20 grand. Is it?...

...YES IT IS FOR THE FASTEST $20,000 WIN TO DATE!!! With over $25K+ in cash and stuff and two records to her credit, she's definitely one of the best players so far on this show!

(Note: In later-taped episodes like this one, I think, the $20K screen on Mr. Q shines once it appears.)

"Millionaire" 10th Anniversary run update

We have just learned that during the "WWTBAM" 10th Anniversary specials, the Ask the Expert lifeline will be earned at $25,000 (as opposed to the syndicated version's $1,000 mark). One of the Experts will be former "NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw.

Additionally, if a celebrity is unsuccessful at answering a night's final question (with all four lifelines in play), s/he gets $25,000 for their charity.

Jeopardy!: Let's see if Stefan Goodreau can help end this 25th Anniversary season on a high note. The final challengers of the season:

Emily Bruemmer (Orleans, MA)- History/East Asian Studies student
John Munson (originally from Lakeland, FL)- Self-proclaimed Gadabout

Here's the opening round board:

PREHISTORIC TIMES
ACTING FAMILIES

DRINK"S"
WORLD CITY WALK
TOUGH-POURRI
VISUALLITERATION (each correct response has two alliterative words in appearance, but not in sound)

Stefan gets the first three clues in Acting Families before the rest of that category proves to be nothing but Triple Stumpers, with Munson missing the $800 clue. Stefan then tries to sweep Visalliteration with this grand clue:

A trip from New York to Ireland earned Douglas Corrigan this nickname in 1938.

"What is Wrong Way?" is said by...Stefan, so he's got a SWEEP and a new total of $4,200! When we hit the first break, he's got five grand while Bruemmer has $1,400 and Munson's now $200 on the good side. Towards the end of this round, Bruemmer finds the Daily Double under the $600 Prehistoric Times clue with $4,800; Stefan has $6,600 and Munson's $200 is now a negative amount. Her wager is the clue's face value ($600) on this:

This development divides prehistoric times from historic times.

"What is written record?"...should've bet for the lead- that's right to go to $5,400. Stefan then is right on the rest of that subject to end the round with $8,400.

ATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $800
UNATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $2,400
TOTAL LACH TRASH: $3,200

The last set of DJ! categories this season are:

POETS & POETRY
THE AZTECS
DEUS EX MACHINA
MARTIAL

DYLAN
"GUN" SMOKE

Munson gets all but the $1,200 clue in Dylan to jump to $4,600 and be just behind Bruemmer for second place. But Bruemmer shortly hits DD #1 under the $1,200 Poets & Poetry clue with $6,600; the champ still leads with ten grand now. Her wager this time is...$1,000.

This British poet wrote, "When I consider how my light is spent, ere half my days, in this dark world and wide".

"Who is Eliot?"...incorrect. The right poet was John Milton, setting her back to $5,600. She then shakes that off and shortly finds the season's last DD under the $1,200 clue in The Aztecs. She now has $8,400, just $1,600 off the champ's lead. She now wagers...$1,600. To tie the game, the clue is:

The principal food of the Aztecs was a thin cornmeal package called a Tlaxcalli, this in Spanish.

"What is tortilla?"...that ties the game at ten grand apiece!

ATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $800
UNATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $3,600
TOTAL DJ! LACH TRASH: $4,400

SCORES AFTER DOUBLE JEOPARDY!:

Stefan: $16,400
John: $8,200
Emily: $18,000

CORYAT SCORES:

Stefan: $16,400
John: $8,200
Emily: $18,600

LAST FINAL JEOPARDY! CATEGORY OF THE SEASON: 25 Years & Counting.

In 2009, she was on a world tour at age 69; when "Jeopardy!" premiered in September 1984, she had the USA's No. 1 hit.

John Munson agrees with my guess of "What is Cher?"...but we're both incorrect. His wager was five grand, finishing him up at $3,200. Stefan's response was "Who is Tina Turner?"...

"Who is Tina Turner?"

...YES! His wager...NOTHING. According to the J-Archive's betting calculator, that's the right thing to do. That means he's hoping for a mistake by Emily Bruemmer...

...AND IT HAPPENS- SHE WROTE DOWN MADONNA AND LOSES SEVEN GRAND, MEANING STEFAN GOODREAU IS THE SEASON'S LAST FIVE-TIME CHAMPION!!! His total heading into the summer break: $84,870! A fitting way to end this special season!

(Emily should've wagered $14,801 there.)

Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?: The celebrity coming into the classroom, after a prolonged introduction by host Jeff Foxworthy (which includes a big microphone coming down from the ceiling), is former multi-time boxing champion and "Contender" host Sugar Ray Leonard. He's playing for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and makes Jenna his first partner. Here are the categories:

1st Grade Life Science
1st Grade Social Studies
2nd Grade Music
2nd Grade Grammar
3rd Grade Math
3rd Grade Astronomy
4th Grade U.S. Geography
4th Grade Cultural Studies
5th Grade World History
5th Grade Literature

He attempts Grammar first.

What word is the verb in this show's title?

He locks in "smarter"...NO! I thought for sure that was right. The right word was "Are"...which Jenna puts down to save him. He tries to do better with Social Studies.

The U.S. federal holiday of New Year's Day is observed in what month?

He goes with the obvious in January...this time, he's right. After picking Bryce as his second classmate, his third chosen topic is Life Science.

T or F: Some species of berries are poisonous for humans to eat.

He nails True and moves on with Music.

How many strings are on a standard cello- 4, 5 or 6?

After thinking it out, he locks in 4...one away from the safe haven. Olivia's his third partner and 3rd Grade Astronomy's his next category.

NASA space shuttles launch from Cape Canaveral in what U.S. state?

A: Florida
B: California
C: Texas

His guess is Florida...yes indeed for $25,000. 3rd Grade Math is his next stop.

Jenna's in a toy store that has three shelves of dolls. There are 8 dolls on the first shelf, 15 dolls on the second shelf and 11 dolls on the last shelf. If Jenna buys two dolls, what is the total number of dolls left on the shelves?

Sugar Ray...KOs 32 for $50,000 (as do all the classmates)! Jonathan then joins him and the $100,000 category is 4th Grade U.S. Geography:

Dormant Volcano Mount Hood is located in what U.S. state?

Even with the Peek and Copy still in play, Sugar Ray decides to throw in the towel at $50,000 for his charity. Mt. Vernon is located in Oregon- her daughter knew that. Jonathan, however, did not- he wrote down Montana.

And now, stepping into this show's ring, is the host of "Bullrun", as well as a former NFL player and professional wrestler- Bill Goldberg! His charity is The Progeria Research Foundation. Olivia is his opening partner. Let's see the categories:

1st Grade Measurements
1st Grade Grammar
2nd Grade Spelling
2nd Grade Animal Science
3rd Grade Social Studies
3rd Grade World Geography
4th Grade Math
4th Grade English
5th Grade Science
5th Grade Cultural Studies

Goldberg's first opponent here is Grammar.

T or F: All sentences must end with a period.

He knows that's False. 2nd Grade Animal Science is his second topic.

T or F: There are more than 25,000 different species of spiders in the world.

He decides to Peek at Olivia's answer, which is False. He decides to play it safe and lock in True...he's right, so his Save remains intact. Like Sugar Ray, Bryce is his second child partner. The third topic of his choice is Measurements (prior to the following question, he sees a video message from David Arquette).

If today is Francesca's 10th birthday, how many years from now will she turn 21?

He gets 11 easily and moves on to Spelling.

The plural form of the word "quiz" has how many letters?

He locks in 6, but he's one off. It was 7...AND BRYCE ALSO WROTE DOWN 6- THAT MEANS GOLDBERG'S MIND HAS SPEARED AND JACKHAMMERED HIMSELF!!!! HE'S THE FIRST CELEBRITY TOTAL FLUNK OUT ON THIS SHOW. THAT'S A ZONK ANSWER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE. What a shame. But lucky for him, the producers are generous enough to donate $25,000 to his charity anyway.

GSN update

This week may be the last one for the "Big Saturday Night" segments. There's a good chance they might not live up to their promise of giving away about a million bucks in cash and prizes this summer.

On the positive side, "Catch 21" has been renewed for a third season. Tapings for that show will resume this September. Therefore, I'm guessing "Bingo America" will begin airing its third season this Fall and "Catch 21" in early 2010 (these are NOT definite dates, however).

Various sources contributed to this report.

(Note: HollywoodJunket.com earlier said this would be the last week for "BSN", but a GSN representative has told me otherwise. My apologies.)

"So You Think You Can Dance"- 100TH EPISODE!

The opening performance on this special night is set to "One" by the original Broadway cast of "A Chorus Line".

For those you who saw Melissa Sandvig & Ade Obayomi's second dance last night (choreographed by Tyce Diorio), many people (including the judges) thought that was the most emotional, and possibly memorable, performance in the history of the show. Additionally, Nigel Lythgoe got a call from Olivia Newton-John about it.

In danger of elimination this week on the female side are Kayla Radomski (for the third time this season) & Janette Manrara, while the bottom two men are Jason Glover (for the fourth time) and Brandon Bryant.

Later, Hok Konishi & Jaimie Goodwin from Season 3 once again perform a routine called "The Hummingbird & the Flower" to "The Chairman's Waltz" from the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" (choreographed by Wade Robson). This routine ended up winning an Emmy.

Choreographer Travis Wall and Heidi Groskreutz, both former Season 2 contestants, then re-perform the Bench routine to "Calling You" by Celine Dion. This Mia Michaels-choreographed performance also won an Emmy.

The next group routine is set to "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Roisin Murphy.

After that, Katie Holmes is featured in a special taped routine called "Get Happy".

Unfortunately, at the end of it all, the two that won't be celebrating, because they've been eliminated, are...

...Jason & Janette. Janette ran into some bad luck with the voting.

The show ends with a cake on stage and confetti & streamers going off!

"Jeopardy!" 7/23

If Stefan Goodreau wants to try to end the season as a five-time champion, he'll have to beat these players first tonight:

Rosanne Coloccia (Chandler, AZ)- Travel agent/writer
Zach Goldberg (Washington, D.C.)- Congressional aid that works for a former five-time undefeated champion from the Art Fleming era

Opening categories:

EAST ASIA
"Batman" TV VILLAINS
DANSWERS (each correct response is the name of a dance)
QUOTATIONS FROM "Bartlett's"
KILLED BY DEATH
"MOTOR" HEAD

After Coloccia gets the opening clue in East Asia, Stefan gets the next three clues in that category before hitting the Daily Double to conclude that category. Of his $1,800...he bets the farm on this:

Korea's west coast, including Inchon, borders this arm of the Pacific.

"What is the South China Sea?"...oops. It was a sea, but it was actually the Yellow. But he does run his score back up to $3,200 by the time we reach the first break; Goldberg has a grand and Coloccia's back to zero. At the end of the round...

Stefan: $7,400
Zach: $1,000

Rosanne: $1,400

...he's still in top form.

ATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $800
UNATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $2,000
TOTAL LACH TRASH: $2,800

DJ! Categories:

LITERARY ANALYSIS (the character must be given)
PUGILISM (this is about boxing)
BUSINESS AS USUAL
WE'RE OFF TO SEE THE LIZARD
FIRST & LAST NAME, PLEASE
ABBREV.

Immediately, Goldberg goes Daily Double Hunting...but after Literary Analysis and Pugilism get cleared out to start this round, Stefan's at $12,200 and leads both challengers by ten grand apiece. Goldberg later uses the High School Strategy on First & Last Name, Please...but Stefan beats him to the punch on finding one of the DDs under the $800 clue there with $15,400; Goldberg now has three grand. His wager this time is...six large. Here's the clue:

American author: _____ Rice ______

"Who is Edward Rice Burroughs?"...best known for writing "Tarzan", THAT IS RIGHT to go to $21,400! Not too long after that, he ends up finding the last one under the $2,000 Business As Usual Clue, while down to $20,600. His last DD wager of the evening is...$600.

Despite the name, not much has restricted the growth of this women's clothing company founded in Columbus, Ohio.

He has no idea- it was The Limited, dropping him to an even 20 grand for the moment.

ATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $6,000
UNATTEMPTED LACH TRASH: $10,800
TOTAL DJ! LACH TRASH: $16,800

SCORES AFTER DOUBLE JEOPARDY!:

Stefan: $22,800 (major lock game!!!)
Zach: $200
Rosanne: $200

CORYAT SCORES:

Stefan: $20,000
Zach: $200

Rosanne: $200

FJ! CATEGORY: Food.

This cheese was created in 1892 by Emil Frey & named for a New York singing society whose members loved the cheese.

ROSANNE:

ZACH:

Stefan...puts down another ZONK ANSWER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE with "What is Whiffenpoof Cheese"! Correct: What is Liederkranz? He wagered...

...$20,065! Ouch. He misses out on a $42K+ payday, but he does win another $2,735 tonight and now has a four-day total of $68,470. Hopefully he'll end the season as a five-time champion tomorrow.

More details on NBC's "Face the Ace"

The first two prize levels have been announced for the upcoming NBC show "Face the Ace". A contestant that wins their first game gets $40,000. For their second win, the winnings are multiplied by five, which means $200,000. And of course, winning the last game multiplies the 200 grand by five for the grand prize of $1 Million. Of course, going on and losing to a poker pro at any time not only costs them everything, but also wins the pro $10,000 for their favorite charity.
