Opening Clue: Travel to St. Petersburg, Russia. Once there, they have to go to the Rostral Columns for their second clue.
Brook Roberts & Claire Champlin have the early lead.
DETOUR #5: Classical Music or Classic Cinema?
CM: Teams have to go to a historical palace and find a maestro w/ three gramophones before listening to the following three three musical compositions- "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky, "Scheherazade" by Nikolai Rimsky-Kirsakov & "Troika" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. After listening to all of them, they have to go inside the ballrooms and find the three pianists playing those pieces of music before placing each sheet music in its designated folder. If all three music folders are correct, they'll receive their third clue.
CC: Teams need to make their way to the Lenfilm Studio's soundstage and search through lots of filmclip piles in order to find a filmclip that matches any part of the scene from the movie "October" that's continuously playing on the big screen before they can get their third clue.
Clue #3: Go to Palace Square for the fourth clue.
Clue #4: Travel to Alexandrovskaya, where the fifth clue awaits everybody at a nearby local store that's on a marked road.
(Note: In honor of Halloween tonight, I'm going to make the color for both the Roadblock & Pit Stop titles orange instead of their usual red.)
ROADBLOCK #6: One member of each team has to plant a row of 50 potatoes after putting on some Babushka attire, while also having to fertilize their crop w/ lots of cow manure (aka bulls@#!). Once they're successful at all that, they'll receive their Pit Stop clue.
PIT STOP #6: St. Isaac's Cathedral, where one team may get spooked out of this race.
