"American Idol" 3/31

Starting us off this week is Season 2 champion Ruben Studdard with the song "Don't Make 'Em Like U No More".

The song played in this week's Ford music video is "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas.

Also, Usher sings "OMG" with will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas, Diddy Dirty Money perform "Hello, Good Morning" for the very first time anywhere teen singing sensation Justin Bieber is in the audience, and when he learned he was safe, Michael Lynche picks up Ryan Seacrest from behind!

3/31/2010 Results

LMAD: Kimberly & Willie (both wearing afros and sunglasses) could start this episode by Movin' On Up to some money and the KIA Forte LX ($15,890)(Curtain #1) if they can pick the right numbers.

1. #3- $250
2. #4- TRIPLE ($750)
3. #1- DOUBLE ($1,500); STOPS
4. #3- $1,000
FINAL PICK: #1- WIN

The next three contestants playing Majority Rules are Karen, Callahan and Jocelyn (who is a dog rescuer). The clue for Curtain #3 is something to experience. They can either have that or the blue small box (Jonathan). Karen & Jocelyn go with the curtain...inside the box was a Movado luxury watch worth $895. Karen & Callahan then order the group to shift to Curtain #2...behind #3 was a ZONK ski trip! With all three women on their own right now, they can either keep the middle curtain, take the big box or collect $600. Because Jocelyn's gotten laid off from her airline job, she's taking the money. Karen also does the same thing, while Callahan tries her luck with the box...the middle curtain had a living room that included the Samsung 32" LCD HDTV worth $2,073, whereas Callahan's going on the ultimate makeover experience at Euphoria & Company worth $2,504!

In the third deal, Alicia (dressed as a hot dog) gets a chance to win a trip to The Verandah Resort & Spa in Antigua worth $7,488 (Curtain #1). There are four boxes on a table in front of Curtain #2; at least one of them has a pair of flip-flops inside, while the rest of them have ZONKS. Finding some flip-flops will win her the vacation. She chooses Box #3 and turns down $500, $600 and $700...but she's stuck with some junk boots/heels. To be continued...

The next two traders are Linda and Michael (who's wearing a "Kick Me, Wayne!" sign). To start this Auction, they're spotted $500 each. The first item is inside the red small box (Jonathan), and Michael buys the following for $150...a can of tomato soup with some cash attached to it. Second is Curtain #2, which is sold to Linda for half her bankroll...there's a black range worth $1,649. Finally is the big box, and it's bought by Michael for $250...back there is that $1,500 Samsung 32" LCD HDTV from earlier. The Big Risk is Curtain #3, and Linda takes it...Michael's soup is only worth $50 (for a total of $1,799 in cash and TV), while Linda gets a $3,200 ATV!

The next deal is titled Headlines. First, Linda (who's wearing a Bingo board with WAYNE on it) is shown a newspaper with "Electric Storm Hits Curtain #1" on it. She doesn't want $500, $600 or $700, so she'll receive...a digital photo studio worth $2,479. The headline for Kenneth (who's dressed as a member of the Army) is "Backyard Makeover Available Behind Curtain #2". He's not interested in that, though, so he sells the middle curtain for $600...good for him- all that would have invaded his backyard were some goats! PERFECT DEAL!

After Keith dances for a $100 bill, Naomi (dressed as a sky with a rainbow) gets the other chance of the morning to win the Antigua getaway. Her choice is Box #2, and she gives back $600 for...ANTIGUA!

THE BIG DEAL: Since Naomi keeps her trip, Linda will be the lady who goes for the Ram ($21,735) today. Door #1 is chosen on again. Behind Door #2 is the Bank Vault, and inside it was...$4,654. Has she won that truck with the door furthest to the left...YES! Door #3 went from having the Big Deal yesterday to having the smaller deal today- there was a washer/dryer set valued at $1,709.

TPIR: Yesterday, I came SO CLOSE to winning my second SKUNK bet for the fourth time, but as Octavarium64 has said, I've still got three more chances to win it. Hoping to delay the next SKUNKING today are Cerina Johnson, Steven Rypp, Robert Kloessner and Kristi Sullivan (who's wearing an Elmo T-shirt). Behind Door #3 is the first IUFB of the day, a Golden West billiards table (Manuela & Rachel).

She chooses the TV...but the climber was only $1,799. At least she advances to the Showcase with 90 cents. Other scores in the first Showcase Showdown:

Steven: Nickel + 75 = $.80
Robert: 75 + 30 = OVER BY A NICKEL

Our next winner wannabe coming down to the orange podium is St. Bonnaventure University student Nicholas Selor and the fourth IUFB is a pair of Nirve bicycles (Gwen & Rachel behind the GPT).

Nicholas' Bonus Spin gets him...THE 15 CENTS FOR AN ADDITIONAL $10,000 AND THE TOP WINNER SPOT IN TODAY'S SHOWCASE!

The first Showcase has things that I personally don't want. First, because I like relaxing in my bedroom most of the time, I would give back this home theater that includes the JVC 47" LCD HDTV and a 160 GB iPod (Gwen at Door #1). Second, because I'm not a fan of swimming anyplace, I wouldn't want to fly to the Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii (Gwen at the TV; includes a day swimming and training with dolphins). Finally, only those people who can keep their cool can drive around in the Mustang Convertible (Std., AT)(Rachel at Door #2).

NICHOLAS BIDS 42 GRAND ON TRIP/CONVERTIBLE SHOWCASE

I hope to God Nicholas didn't overbid on the Mustang Showcase...

...BUT HE DID WITH HIS ARP BEING $41,258!!!!! NO JOKE ABOUT THIS- FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE OPENER OF CHRISTMAS WEEK 2007, WE HAVE AN EL SKUNKO SHOW. OUCH. That sends him home with $12,300 in cash and bikes. If it had not been for his $11K SCSD win, we would have had a new season-low total for one episode with $11,006 in cash and stuff.

Video Bonus: Footage of today's disasterous/pathetic "Price" episode

BrainSurge: Wednesday's Brainiac panel:

Brandon- A video game freak that can also clap with just one hand
Paige- Aspiring veternarian
Madison- A girl who tends to break the things around her while she's dancing
Blake- Trumpet/tuba player and a water sports guy
Sal- A toenail biter that also plays baseball and football
Ebony- A lady who gets lost all the time; she also does some volunteer work with her mom

Level 1:

For 10: Memorize the five-digit code in ketchup on Jeff's hot dog.
CORRECT CODE: 91502

Madison had the first two numbers reversed, while Sal had the second and third numbers switched around.

For 20: Which number from one to eight did NOT appear on the top row?
ANSWER: 3

ANSWER: #2

Both Blake & Paige were incorrect with #3, while Madison locked in #1 and Sal chose #4.

For 50: Which of these four people got dialed up twice- Debra, Jessica, Kimberly or Yvette?
ANSWER: Jessica

Brandon's the only one to get this puzzle right and still be perfect with 150 points. Ebony, Madison & Sal were all wrong with Kimberly, Blake missed with Debra and Paige goofed with Yvette. Ebony's in second place with 100, Paige & Blake are tied for third with 60 apiece and Madison & Sal are tied for last place with 20 each.

FOR 100: Which of these colors was the fifth paint balloon Jeff dropped- red, yellow, green or blue?
ANSWER: Blue

Brandon completes the ROUND 1 SWEEP! Also moving on to the second level after also getting this puzzle right are Blake & Sal; Ebony joins them despite being wrong with green. Meanwhile, Paige (yellow) and Madison (who was DISQUALIFIED for inadvertantly adding a second one to her number guess, which gave her 11- that was NOT one of the four choices) are both knocked out of the game with the Spongebob Squarepants alarm clock and the slime bucket.

Level 2: Today's story is about Jeff becoming a prince, according to his personal diary.

ROUND 1:

WOF: Let's see what happens here on the night before April Fool's Day. The $1,000 Toss-Up category is Phrase:

_ A N G

_ _ O S E

Oren's able to HANG LOOSE for $1,000. Let's now meet him in full, along with his female competitors:

Oren Margolis (Lawrenceville, NJ)- New York University senior studying Media Culture/Communication
Norda Swaby (Avon Park, FL; originally from Miami, FL)- Florida A & M sophomore and a piano player
Holly Walsh (Katy, TX)- Stay-at-home mom

$2,000 Toss-Up category is Living Things:

_ _ _ _ D _ S E

Oren solves BIRDS OF PARADISE to triple up.

After a trip to the Hilton Waikoloa Village worth $9,014 moves onto the wheel, the Eggland's Best Jackpot Round category is Show Biz. He first calls a T, R and an N for $300 apiece, buys three E's and two A's, calls two S's for another grand while on Jackpot (he obviously can't solve for a $6,400 Jackpot) and purchases an O. After that, he calls a $500 L but then spins Lose a Turn. Secondly, Norda calls two C's for $900, two F's for the Million Dollar Wedge and buys two I's to clean out the vowels before lighting up three P's and a G for another $600 apiece, a $500 D but she then duds out with the M while on the trip. Afterwards, Holly puts up a $400 W and...

_ A W - D R O P P I N G

S P E C I A L

E F F E C T S

...she solves JAW-DROPPING SPECIAL EFFECTS for another $600.

SOLE DUD: M (Norda)
SOLE LAT: Oren
LEFT BEHIND IN JACKPOT: $9,450

Prize Puzzle Round category is What Are You Doing? Norda, who blew the MDW in the first main round of play, starts this one with an $800 N, a $900 G and buys two I's before calling two R's for another $600 and buying two E's. Next, she calls a T for the Hilo Hattie gift tag but she then LATs out. Second, Holly calls a $300 H but then a dud of L. After Oren calls a $600 M, we have..

_ _ R M I N G / _ _

_ _ / T H E / _ I R E

...in addition to the extra six bills, he'll be WARMING UP BY THE FIRE during his stay at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, CA worth $5,500, giving him a new total of $9,100 in cash and trip.

SOLE DUD: $600 L (Holly)
SOLE LAT: Norda

TONIGHT'S SPIN ID: CS0375378 (C.S. from Massachusetts)

Centrum Silver Mystery Round category is Before & After, and it's a giant puzzle. Holly's up first with an instant dud of T. Second, Oren calls an R for the Wild Card, five N's for $2,750 and buys three A's and two E's, followed by a couple D's for another $1,200 but then a Bankrupt to take away his WC and $3,450. Third, Norda calls a C while on the Mystery Wedge next to the former MDW and obviously decides to flip it over...the $10,000 is back there! But she then loses that right back to a Bankrupt. Back to Holly, she calls two S's for $1,200, buys two I's but she then calls a dud in L. Oren next calls three W's for $1,350 and here's the board...

I / N _ W

_ R _ N _ _ N C E / _ _ _

W I _ E / S W A _

...he solvs I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU HUSBAND AND WIFE SWAP for a new total of $10,450 in cash and Lake Tahoe.

DUDS (both by Holly): $500 L, $300 T
BANKRUPTS: 2 (Oren, Norda)

Song Lyrics is the $3,000 Toss-Up subject:

O H / W H _ T

A / _ _ _ _ _

Oren sweeps the Toss-Ups with "OH WHAT A NIGHT" from The Four Seasons to move up to $13,450 in cash and vacation.

Speed-Up Round category is Person and consonants are worth...$1,500 a pop. After Norda has the C appear...

_ _ S T _ R / _ _

C _ R _ _ _ N _ _ S

...she knows Pat Sajak is the MASTER OF CEREMONIES on this stage for her only three grand on the night! Holly leaves with a non-gooseegged C-note and Oren wins the match with $13,450 in cash and Tahoe.

So far, a SEASON-WORST $17,450 in cash and Tahoe has been given away, at least in the maingame.

TONIGHT'S BANKRUPT TRASH (excluding WC): Oren's winning total

Maxwell House Big Money Round: Oren's a pretty good player; I hope he can win this. He spins the ampersand and the category is Event. Starting with:

_ _ _ T _

_ _ N _ S _

He calls M, C, Y and A...NONE of which make this board.

All he gets is FINISH without the H's and/or the O's up there, so he does NOT complete this PHOTO FINISH moment for $30,000 (second time this week that amount has been lost) and goes home with $13,450 in cash and trip.

Remember, the April Fool's Day show is tomorrow, and to end this episode, a clip of Pat Sajak's fake bald head trick from two years ago is shown!

"War", a song off Bob's 1976 album "Rastaman Vibration", had lyrics taken from a speech by this emperor.

"Who is Napoleon?"...incorrect. The emperor we were talking about was Haile Selassie, sending her back to $4,700. The last of the DDs is uncovered by Drury with the $1,600 South Pacific clue and $16,600; Garahan's a fairly close second with $13,200 and the champion now has $5,900. He bets two grand on the following:

"Dancing with the Stars" 3/30- FIRST SEASON 10 RESULTS SHOW

To no one's surprise, the first Encore Performance of the Week award goes to Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough!

The professionals do a special performance to "Evacuate the Dancefloor" (Note: This was one of the main theme songs for "Thin Ice") by Cascada with Calprit.

After that, The Beach Boys (including John Stamos) perform their medley!

The song used during the Macy's Stars of Dance with Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine and the Haitian dancers is "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira w/ Wyclef Jean.

FIRST ELIMINATION: Pamela Anderson & Damian Whitewood, the couple who might have very well been marked for elimination last week had there been one, are in the bottom two this week with Shannen Doherty & Mark Ballas. Have Pamela & Damian already been shot down by El Cheapo, who in this case is Buzz Aldrin?...

Pamela & Damian
Shannen & Mark

...NO, so Shannen & Mark are the first team eliminated in the 10th season of the show.

"American Idol" 3/30

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC: R & B/Soul
MENTOR: Usher

1. Siobhan Magnus- "Through the Fire" by Chaka Khan

Randy Jackson still admires her guts, but he said that she was a bit pitchy. Ellen DeGeneres agreed with him, Kara DioGuardi said she was nervous and Simon Cowell she sounded like she was singing while being out of breath at a marathon.

2. Casey James- "Hold On, I'm Comin'" by Sam & Dave

Randy said he did great because of staying in his element! Ellen, however, thought he sounded slightly generic, and Kara thought his range wasn't big enough. Simon said it was his best performance of the season!

3. Michael Lynche- "Ready For Love" by India.Arie (with a guitar)

Randy says he remains in the zone, althought it wasn't his most exciting performance. Ellen said he sang beautifully, Kara said he was incredible and Simon admitted he is now taking him seriously.

4. Didi Benami- "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted" by Jimmy Ruffin

All four judges thought she sounded flat.

5. Tim Urban- "Sweet Love" by Anita Baker

Randy said although he was in tune, he had little to NO vibe with his singing. Ellen questioned the song choice. Kara agreed with randy, but Simon thought their comments won't matter and predicted that he'll be back next week (although that seems unlikely).

6. Andrew Garcia- "Forever" by Chris Brown (w/guitar)

Everybody said Andrew was back this week!

7. Katie Stevens- "Chain of Fools" by "The Queen of Soul", Aretha Franklin

Even though her performance was slightly disconnected, Randy said it was one of the best performances of the night. Ellen said she was hoping for a more recent song choice. Kara partly agreed with Ellen, but she still thought it was one of her better performances. Simon said she was robotic most of the time.

8. Lee DeWyze- "Treat Her Like a Lady" by The Cornelius Brothers

According to everyone, he hit a home run!

9. Crystal Bowersox- "Midnight Train To Georgia" by Gladys Knight & The Pips (on the piano)

Randy said she did Gladys proud. Both Ellen & Kara said she showed another side of herself with what she did tonight. Simon said she didn't need any backup singers, and by including them, he felt she sounded old-fashioned a few times.

10. Aaron Kelly- "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers

The entire judging panel said he was just OK.

Tomorrow night's guest performances will be Usher with "OMG" and Diddy & Dirty Money with "Hello, Good Morning".

"The Biggest Loser" 3/30

For the rest of the season, we shift into Solo Mode.

As you know, all of the previously eliminated contestants will return to not only weigh in once again, but also compete for two spots back in this season's competiton, as well as immunity.

Migdalia Sebren was supposed to have been here tonight, but she was unable to appear due to caring for her kids while her husband was serving for our country.

Back to the game, after each of the 12 eliminated competitors have weighed in, they will plead their case on why they should be invited back to compete for the $250,000. Whoever gets more votes from the remaining players will get the first re-entry slot and immunity; nobody can vote for their original teammate, though.

Darrell Hough: 309 lbs, 104 lbs lost

Sherry Johnston: 218 lbs, 56 lbs lost

Miggy Cancel: 191 lbs, 49 lbs lost

Vicky Andrews: 285 lbs, 73 lbs lost

With four votes, the first player to get re-instated is...

...Vicky! John had three of the other votes.

Challenge: The eliminated player who steps up and down 1,000 times will be joining Vicky back in this game.

And that person, after 25:56 have elapsed, is...

...Melissa!

WEIGH-IN:

IMMUNE PLAYERS:

Vicky: 283 lbs, two pounds lost

Melissa: 182 lbs, four pounds lost

REST OF THE PACK:

O'Neal: 291 lbs, four pounds lost, 1.36%

Koli: 281 lbs, six pounds lost, 2.09%

Andrea: 227 lbs, five pounds lost, 2.16%

Daris: 237 lbs, seven pounds lost, 2.87%

Sam: 262 lbs, two pounds lost, .76%

SunShine: 202 lbs, six pounds lost, 2.88%

To avoid joining Sam in this week's elimination ceremony, Stephanie Anderson needs to have lost at least three pounds...

Stephanie: 198 lbs, one pound lost, .50%

...but it does NOT happen for her, as she does the WORST on the week. Furthermore, SHE IS THEN ELIMINATED BY AN 8-1 VOTE. The other vote went to Sam.

To conclude this episode, it is revealed that when he started his personal weight-loss journey, a guy named Wayne Vandenlangenberg weighed in at 674 lbs. His new weight, which is revealed live at the ranch, is...256 lbs, MEANING HE HAS NOW LOST 418 POUNDS, OR 62.02%!!!!! In addition to being sent to the show's Resort & Fitness Ridge, he'll be coming back on the season finale May 25th!

LMAD: This is Episode 1127; for the next two days thereafter, we will be going backwards in taping order. We start off today's show with Gregory (wearing a giant silver pearl necklace), Holly (dressed as a toaster) and Rose (with some really LONG hair). They get to choose from three bronze envelopes, one of which has a check for $500 inside, while the others each have $250 checks. Whoever gets the $500 will get to make the first deal:

Gregory- $500
Holly- $250
Rose- $250

The only man on this panel buys what's behind the big box for the $500...it's a Sony home entertainment center that includes a 46" LCD HDTV and a three-month Netflix subscription worth $2,551. The ladies secondly pick from the two silver envelopes. The one who picks the $750 one gets to do the second deal:

Holly- $750 ($1,000)
Rose- $250 ($500)

Holly then gives up a grand worth of checks for what's inside the blue small box (Jonathan)...a pair of old puppets. After Rose is handed the golden envelope, she gives back all three of her checks for what's behind Curtain #1...some Michael Green & Co. diamond jewelry worth $4,083! Her last check would have been worth $200, for a total of $700.

In the second deal, Nichole (dressed as a Viking Mardi Gras referee) sees Jonathan bringing along a huge bag of mail. The letter Wayne takes out says:

Dear Wayne: You're giving away a lot of fantastic trips on the show. Where do you like to go to get away from it all?

That trip is behind Curtain #3, and she takes it after turning down $400, $500 and $700...it's to St. Thomas worth $4,800! The second letter goes to Star (who's holding a teddy bear while in some pink pajamas), and it reads:

Dear Tiffany: You sure do run a lot from curtain to curtain. How do you keep in such good shape?

The answer to that question is behind Curtain #2. Star turns down $600 and $800 to get...a pink Cybex treadmill worth $6,735! PERFECT DEAL!

In Deal #3, Aaron (who's turning 26 and is dressed like an Indian) chooses from either the blue small box (Jonathan) or Curtain #1, one of which is worth $4,450 in cash and/or merchandise. If he fears he won't make the right choice, he can also walk away with $400. But he does take Curtain #1...HE'S INCORRECT, so he gets ZONKED with a trio of kangaroos. That means he will NOT be going on a Los Angeles Lakers experience. A second round of this particular deal will come later.

The fourth deal is called "The Person Who Can't Say No", and Marla and Grant (wearing a blue/red dress with some white) are given $500 to start. First, Marla buys what's behind the big box (which doubles Grant's winnings)...an iMac computer system with a 16 GB iPod Nano worth $1,878. Second, because Grant has seen too many ZONKS today, he gives Curtain #2 to Marla...and back there is a living room group that includes a JVC 32" LCD HDTV worth $3,823! Finally, even though he doesn't feel sure about doing this, he takes The Big Risk behind Curtain #3...he should've listened to his gut- there's a quartet of scarecrows behind that curtain.

Today's featured couple is Camille & Gordon (dressed as pirates), and their game is Panic Button. Here's what they're playing for:

Curtain #1: Beauty product suite w/ a designer handbag ($1,912)
Curtain #2: Game room ($3,560)
Curtain #3: Spa package ($6,159)

1. #3- CURTAIN #2
2. #5- CURTAIN #1
3. #1- WIPEOUT!!!

After David & Jennifer get engaged on the air (well, NOT really), Sharronda can choose from either the golden envelope or the big box, one of which has something worth $3,381, or she can reject both of those for $500. She chooses the box...but she ZONKS OUT with a couple of possums. She misses out on a trip to Sonoma. In any event, Star will be going for the Big Deal of the Day.

THE BIG DEAL: Star gets a chance to win the Toyota Prius ($23,150). Door #2 has the Bank Vault, but she picks Door #1 instead...THE BIG DEAL WINNING SREAK IS OVER. But in addition to getting a chance to dance with Tiffany at the end of the show, she still finishes as the day's top winner with a retro appliance package valued at $6,577.

Door #2: $1,711
Door #3: PRIUS

TPIR: Tuesday's First Four consists of Meredith Paulicivic, Brian Kemp, Barbara Sturgis (who's celebrating her 51st birthday) and Edward Huling. The first IUFB is a pair of Canon digital cameras (Gwendolyn).

Edward: $900
Barbara: $600
Brian: $300 (STAGE GARF)
Meredith: $601

ARP: $800

Meredith from Temecula, CA plays the Balance Game for a trip to Scotland (Rachel at Door #4). As of this playing, the ARP readout for this Pricing Game has been moved from the model's podium to the podium with the smaller bags on them. The last three numbers are 7, 8 and 4.

DOLLAR VALUES AVAILABLE: $2,000, $4,000 & $5,000

She goes with the cheapest price available, $6,784...but she's under. ARP: $9,784.

Going green second is Brian Roma and the second IUFB is a Bio Force home gym (Rachel at Door #3; she just got married!).

Roma: $1,900
Edward: $2,000
Barbara: $1,500
Kemp: $1,400

ARP: $1,400, winning Mr. Kemp a $500 bonus!

He then plays Pathfinder for a Honda Fit (Std., RKE, Mats, Organizer)(Manuela at Door #3). Board:

10829
24537
23195
49760
61243

The three SPs modeled by Gwen are:

Pink mixer: $70 or $100?
Cosmetic gift set: $125 or $150?
Stainless-steel espresso maker: $88 or $129?

Ryan steps to the 7 as the second number...incorrect. He guesses $70 for the mixer...correct, and he's then right about stepping to the 5 as the second digit in the price of the car
($ 1 5 , _ _ _). He next steps to the 4 like I would have for the third digit...no. For the beauty supplies, he goes with $125...right. After that, he steps to the 8...NO. To stay in the game, he guesses $129 for the espresso maker...GAME OVER. The ARP of the Fit was $15,379, making it the cheapest car offered in this PG in a LONG time.

The second orange podium recepient is Elaine Lopez and the third IUFB is the Danby wine cooler (Manuela at the turntable).

Elaine: $1,250
Brian: $1,299
Edward: $800
Barbara: BUCK

ARP: $999

Edward plays Most Expen$ive for a Zuma motorscooter (Gwen), a dinette (Rachel; she's eating some pie during this prize's description!) and a Samsung 55" LCD HDTV (Manuela). He picks the scooter. The dinette costs two grand, the HDTV is $3,600...but the scooter is only $2,999.

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Meredith ($800): $.85
Edward ($999): 20 + 95 = OVER BY $.15
Ryan ($2,025): 45 + 60 = OVER BY A NICKEL

The first loser of the day gets to the Showcase.

Next is Lilian Lozano and IUFB #4 is some golf clubs (Rachel behind splitting sign).

Lilian: $1,100
Barbara: $1,800
Elaine: $1,700
Brian: $1,801

ARP: $1,170

Lilian will be loading some of those clubs on this EZ Go golf cart (Gwen at Door #3) if she locks in the right price inside the Freeze Frame. The best-looking prices this time are $4,922, $5,085, $6,449, $7,615, $8,564 and $9,250. She freezes the board at $5,085...she missed it by one lousy click with $9,250.

Hoping to possibly win her PG if she makes it on stage is Ryan Hastings (who is a woman that attends San Diego State University) and the next-to-last IUFB is a home stereo system (Gwen inside the clam).

Ryan: $1,700
Barbara: $1,200
Elaine: $1,295
Brian: $1,300

ARP: $2,959

Ryan plays Dice Game for a Honda Accord LX-S Coupe (Std., Sensors, Lighting, EBH)(Rachel at Door #3). The first number, of course, is 2.

Second number: 6- NO; LOWER FREEBIE
Third number: 4- NO; HIGHER
Fourth number: 2- NO; HIGHER

Last number: 1- RIGHT

The second digit is 3. The fourth number is...4. And that middle number is...a 2, so NO $23,241 Accord for her.

Plugging in that red spot last is Martha McGee and the last IUFB is some of that Professional Ameriware (Manuela & Rachel). Barbara's in a lot of trouble- not only has she been in Contestant's Row the whole time, she's bidding second in this round.

Martha: $425
Barbara: $800
Elaine: $650
Brian: $810 (possible bad news for Barbara)

ARP: $1,200

BOOTED TO THE CLUBHOUSE: Barbara

If Brian can prevent yours truly from winning my second two-week SKUNK bet today while playing Check-Out, in addition to the cookware, he'll add to his new kitchen a trio of Viking appliances worth $11,885 (Gwen at Door #3). The five grocery items are Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, a BigEPak of Orbit White Gum, a box of Nilla Wafers, a small bag of Jelly-Belly Jellybeans and the Space Bag.

GUESSES:
Cream: $7.99
Gum: $1.69
Wafers: $3.29
Jellybeans: $1.29
Bag: $8
TOTAL GUESS: $22.26

The cream is $4.99, the gum is $3.69, the wafers are $4.19 and the jellybeans are $3.99, bringing the actual total so far to $16.86. If the price of that Space Bag is anywhere from $3.40-$7.40, he has saved the day...

...IT'S $6.99, SO HE HAS DEFEATED ME WITH AN ACTUAL TOTAL OF $23.85 AND A DIFFERENCE OF $1.59!!!

My lineup today:

1. Most Expen$ive
2. Balance Game
3. Dice Game
4. Freeze Frame
5. Pathfinder
6. Check-Out

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Lilian ($1,170; first spin was a PENALTY): 35 + 75 = OVER BY A DIME
Ryan ($2,959): Nickel + 30 = $.35
Brian ($13,085): $.40

Brian's in the Showcase today!

Showcase #1 (all prizes behind Door #2) has a trip to CedarPoint in Ohio (Gwen), a trip to Tokyo (Manuela) and a trio of motorcycles that consists of the Suzuki Ninja plus a Triumph and a Yamaha (Rachel).

BRIAN PASSES TO MEREDITH; MEREDITH BIDS $33,500 ON TRIPS/MOTORCYCLES SHOWCASE- POSSIBLE STAGE WILLY

MY BID FOR TRIPS/MOTORCYCLES SHOWCASE: $27,638

For Brian, we have some O.W. Lee outdoor furniture with the rectangular fire pit (Manuela at Door #3), the Daniel's Wood Land treehouse (Rachel at Door #1) and the Hi-Lo trailer (Gwen at Door #1).

BRIAN BIDS $22,327 ON TREEHOUSE/TRAILER SHOWCASE- UNINTENTIONAL GARF OF THE CENTURY

MY BID FOR TREEHOUSE/TRAILER SHOWCASE: $42,675

BRIAN'S SHOWCASE:
BID: $22,327
ARP: $49,473
DIFFERENCE: $27,146

MEREDITH'S SHOWCASE:
BID: $33,500
ARP: $33,825

DIFFERENCE: $325- WIN

I thought Brian had it there; instead, Meredith wins $34,625 in prizes.

Mingo's CATCHING WAVES for $1,000. Here are tonight's players:

Mingo Arvezu (Springfield, MO)- Actor
Lindsay Ashe (Edmond, OK)- Stay-at-home mom and a military spouse
Miriam Debash (Ft. Lauderdale)- Human resources manager for an oil firm

$2,000 Toss-Up category is Proper Name:

_ _ N _ _ P E

_ _ _ Z

Mingo comes up with the correct actress in PENELOPE CRUZ to triple to $3,000.

Eggland's Best Jackpot/Prize Puzzle Round category is Song Lyrics and out on the wheel now is an $8,000 trip to the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i At Manete Bay. He first calls three T's for $1,350, buys three E's, but then spins Lose a Turn. Secondly, Lindsay calls two H's for the Wild Card but then a dud of B. Third, Miriam & Mingo both hit Bankrupt, which costs the latter man $1,100. Lindsay next calls two N's for $600 but next comes a dud vowel purchase in A (which turns out to be the only such vowel on the board). Then, Miriam calls three M's for $1,800 and buys two I's before lighting up an S for a $1,000 Maui Gym gift certificate, buying an O, calling a $900 R and buying the last remaining vowels, two U's. At this point, we have:

H O T / _ U N

I N / T H E

S U M M E R T I M E

She solves "HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME" by Sly and the Family Stone for $1,950, the gift tag and the $6,000 Caravan.com Central American Tour, a total of $8,950 in cash and prizes.

DUDS (both by Lindsay): A, $500 B
SOLE LAT: Mingo
BANKRUPTS: 2 (Miriam, Mingo)
LEFT BEHIND IN JACKPOT: $7,750

TONIGHT'S SPIN ID: FF3441439 (Francisco F. from California)

Lindsay's up first in tonight's Before & After Round with a $550 T but she then buys her second dud vowel of the night in O. Second, Miriam calls three A's while on Free Play, three R's for $1,350, but then a dud of M. Third, Mingo calls a $550 N and buys an E, but he then lands on the left Bankrupt of the Million Dollar Wedge to lose the leftover $300; that's his second Bankrupt of the night. Returning to Lindsay, she calls a $900 L, purchases the last two vowels of I and U, then she lights up a C for the Hawaii trip and we have...

_ E R _ I A N

C A T

_ U R _ L A R

...but she's incorrect by two letters with SERBIAN CAT BURGLAR, which likely will stop her from claiming $8,700 in cash and trip. Miriam then puts up a $500 P, a $300 B, but she then hits the regular Bankrupt for the second time tonight to give back $2,150. After Mingo Bankrupts for the third time this evening, Lindsay tries again to solve with this...

P E R _ I A N

C A T

B U R _ L A R

...and she's successful this time with PERSIAN CAT BURGLAR to get on the board, leaving her just $250 off the lead.

DUDS: $300 M (Miriam), O (Lindsay)
BANKRUPTS: 3 (2 by Mingo, Miriam)
SOLE DQ: Lindsay (two-letter missolve)

Centrum Silver Mystery Round category is Phrase. Up first is Miriam with a $300 S and four T's for another $2,400 before she buys three E's, calls two H's for another $900 and purchases an I. But she then duds out with the L. Mingo is second in line with a $500 N, a $300 R and the purchasing of three A's and a couple of O's before lighting up a pair of F's for another $7,000 and Bankrupting for the fourth time this episode to forfeit $7,300; had he solved this puzzle right now, he would've had the lead. After Lindsay calls a $550 J, here's the board...

J _ S T

A N O T H E R / _ A _

A T / T H E / O F F I _ E

...it's JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE for Lindsay, as she's now in front with $9,700 in cash and Hawaii.

SOLE DUD: $500 L (Miriam)
SOLE BANKRUPT: Mingo

$3,000 Toss-Up subject is Occupation:

_ _ R E S T

Miriam solves FOREST RANGER to re-take the lead with $11,950 in cash and prizes.

Speed-Up Round category is Fictional Character and consonants are worth $1,300 each. After Lindsay makes two M's show up late in this round, the board reads...

T H _ / L _ T T L _

M _ R M _ _ D

...and she nails THE LITTLE MERMAID for another $3,900 and the championship with $13,600 in cash and vacation! Miriam departs with $11,950 in cash and stuff and Mingo takes home three grand in Toss-Up money.

So far, $28,550 in cash and merchandise has been awarded tonight.

DUDS: N (Miriam), S (Lindsay), W (Miriam)

TONIGHT'S BANKRUPT TRASH: $10,850

Maxwell House Big Money Round: Lindsay Ashe's WC will be in play here. She spins the R and the category is Phrase. Starting with:

T _ E / _ E R _ E _ T

_ _ _

She needs some help in that last word. Her picks are H, K, M, C and I and she gets...

T H E / _ E R _ E C T

M I _

...because she nearly had THE PERFECT MIX of letters up there, she wins $25,000, for a final total of $38,600 in cash trip; that's the 60th bonus round win of the season, and the Feeding America Bonus Round Charity Bank has reached $35K!

BTW, make sure you tune in on Thursday night for a very special April Fool's Day Episode, where you see 10 things being different!

They end the night with three...5's. The last two performances made for a tough ending to this week's performance episode.

Incidentially, if there had been an elimination last week, the results would have been very shocking.

On the first results show of the season tomorrow night (which will now regularly air at 8 PM EST), The Beach Boys (including John Stamos) will sing these three hits of theirs- "California Girls", "Kokomo" and "Fun, Fun, Fun"! Also, Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine will be the first Macy's Stars of Dance guest of the season; he'll be joined by a bunch of Haitian dancers.

"Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp II" 3/29

Next-To-Last Fit Challenge: Both teams have to go retrieve these supplies from three different checkpoints- food, tents and a communication device. Once they've gotten their communication device, Harvey Walden IV will reveal the coordinates for their final outpost. The first team to complete the course will win the FIVE FIT-FACTOR POINT BONUS.

Win or lose, both teams will be sleeping in their tents for the rest of the night.

The winners are...

...thanks in part to Tanisha Thomas twisting one of her knees and being sent to the hospital as a result, the Red Team; that's their fifth challenge win of the season!

Dead Weight #8: Because he made a VERY INAPPROPRIATE comment about wanting Tanisha to be the DW despite her injury, Sebastian Bach is forced to dig several holes for people to take a crap in.

In the middle of the night, both teams hear an alarm and a message from Harvey that whoever gets all their supplies back to their base camp would get the opportunity to skip this week's PT Session the next morning. The team who does so successfully first is...

...despite Nicole Eggert saying "&!*@ you" to KayCee Stroh, the Red Team!

As for the Blue Team, they are required to go through a big Green Beret workout with Army member Tim Kennedy. The Red Team ends up also doing it anyway.
Towards the end of it all, Shar Jackson dislocates one of her shoulders.

LMAD: Monty Hall Week is going to be tough to follow, espescially after what happened in the modernized Cash Register deal last Wednesday.

We start this week with Episode 1124 and these three contestants as we do the Who the Boss? deal- Anthony Martin, Chelsea (who's wearing a maroon/silver football replica jersey) and Miki from St. George, UT (originally from Japan; she's wearing a big suit). First, Anthony gets to decide which of the ladies gets the golden envelope and who gets the blue small box (Jonathan). He assigns the envelope to Chelsea and the box to Miki...Chelsea currently has a $400 check, while Miki has a Nikon digital camera and a Sony photo printer worth $1,712. Secondly, Chelsea has to hand out the silver envelope and the big box to somebody. She gives the envelope to Miki, meaning all of this behind the bigger box goes to Anthony Martin...a selection of countertop appliances and a year's supply of Seattle's Best Coffee worth $2,881. Inside Miki's envelope is...$500. Third, who gets Curtain #1 and who must settle for the bronze envelope depends on Miki. According to her, the curtain goes to Chelsea...and it has the Kawsaki Ninja inside ($4,299)! As for Anthony Martin...he adds $600 to his current winnings with his envelope. Finally comes The Big Risk with Curtain #2, but everybody walks away from...the ZONK airplane- PERFECT DEAL!

The second deal of the day is the three-deck version of Cash or Cra$h, where Andrea (whose nephew was on the U.S. Winter Olympics Team) gets a chance to win the Nissan Versa ($11,710)(Curtain #3).

1. #2- $100
2. #3- $200 ($300)
3. #3- $500 ($800)
4. #3- $100 ($900); DECK #3 NOW OUT OF PLAY
5. #2- $100 ($1,000)
6. #2- LOSS

Next, Christopher (dressed as a bowling pin) is told there's a Payday lurking behind Curtain #2. He turns down the bronze envelope for...The Bank Vault with $2,141 inside! Inside the envelope was the BOUNCED $100 check! PERFECT DEAL #2!

The next two women to make a deal are Debra from Baltimore, MD (dressed as a Canadian police officer) and Jasmine (who is a Nursing student); they're both celebrating their 21st birthday! Debra's daughter, Mercedes, mistakenly came out of her seat, but she will be making a quickie deal a little later. Whoever does the best in the first round of this deal will get to continue on to Round 2. To start, Wayne pulls out two bankrolls- one with a $10 bill on the outside, and the other one has a $50 bill on the outside. Their bankroll choices:

Debra: $50
Jasmine: $10

Debra gives back her bankroll for what's inside the blue small box...the 15" MacBook Pro laptop ($1,999). Inside her bankroll was...an additional $500. Then, Jasmine takes the big box, which has back there...the red Samsung washer/dryer package ($2,644), so she advances to the second part of the deal! For the record, besides the $10 with her bankroll, there were...10 $100 bills. After listening to his dad, Earl, she gives back the washer/dryer stuff for what's behind Curtain #1...a $6,008 spa! PERFECT DEAL #3!

Mercedes then gets a chance to win a Benjamin if he can guess how old Scott is according to his driver's license within three years. She locks in 1967 (which would mean Scott's either 42 or 43 years old)...RIGHT ON THE MONEY! Scott also gets $100!

Now, for today's couples deal with Kurt & Patricia (who are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary). They have a chance to win a second honeymoon trip to either Kaua'i, HI from The Journeymasters ($8,101) or Buenos Aires ($9,400). On the blue small box's tray is a board of four numbers. Two have Kaua'i, while the other two have Argentina. If they are able to make a match with their two picks, they will win whatever trip they matched up.

1. #1- KAUA'I

They can go for the Hawaiian vacation or take a bedroom valued at $3,947. With no hesitation, they take the furniture. Could they have been going to Hawaii with their other choice of #2...NO! Let's see where the other two cards had:

#3- KAUA'I
#4- ARGENTINA

THE BIG DEAL: Jasmine trades back the spa for a chance to win the first Big Deal of the week, which is worth a total of $20,397. She picks Door #2. Behind Door #3 was a trip to the Moon Dance Cliffs Resort & Spa in Jamaica with a price tag of...$7,602. We've never had three straight BD wins in a row...

...UNTIL NOW!!! Behind Door #1 was a 46" LCD HDTV and the TiVo HD worth $2,507. With that, she and Earl have won the following behind Door #2...the Yamaha snowmobile, Kawasaki jet ski and an Eagle Velocity moped!

The ARP of the Mini Cooper was $25,450 and the trip's price will remain hidden from view; I think the last two prizes both had a More attached, with the wrong price for the car probably being over $24K.

Jennifer Lawn could possibly help make a perfect second half, but right now, she and everybody else has to bid on the final IUFB of the morning- some camping equipment (Gwen at Door #3). Lucas has been here the whole show, but he will get to bid last in this final round.

WOF: In the past two weeks, thanks in part to two $100,000 wins (espescially from the fifth-highest winners of all-time, Mary Anne & Michael Dixon, with $142,500 last Tuesday), a total of $755,513 IN CASH AND PRIZES HAS BEEN GIVEN AWAY!!! Depending on how Hawaii Week goes, we could break the $1,000,000 mark during this incredible three-week stretch when it's all said and done.

The first Toss-Up category is Phrase and it's a one-liner:

_ _ _ _ ' S / _ P !

Neepa yells "SURF'S UP!" for $1,000. And she turns out to be the only female contestant on Monday night's panel. Let's meet her and the male competiton right now:

Neepa Shaw (Parlin, NJ)- 9th Grade English teacher
Jose Bravo, Jr. (Los Angeles)- A 7th & 8th Grade Spanish teacher, soccer coach and dancer
Chris Kent (Falls Church, VA!)- Just retired from the Marine Corps after serving with them for six years

$2,000 Toss-Up category is Rhyme Time:

_ O U _ / &

P _ O _ D

Jose solves this puzzle LOUD & PROUD for $2,000.

Eggland's Best Jackpot Round category is Food & Drink and out on the wheel now is a trip to The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas in Maui from Funjet Vacations worth $6,050. Jose starts us out with a $600 T and an I buy, then he calls a $600 H, a $300 R and buys three E's before calling five S's for the Wild Card and two W's for the trip. He then calls an $800 D, purchases three A's but he then hits Lose a Turn to leave $7,600 in cash and trip on the table. Secondly, Chris calls a $300 N, two P's for a $1,000 Hilo Hattie online shopping spree and we have...

S E A R E D

S _ A _ _ _ P S / W I T H

S N _ W / P E A S

...he solves SEARED SCALLOPS WITH SNOW PEAS for $1,300 in cash and gift tag.

SOLE LAT: Jose
LEFT BEHIND IN JACKPOT: $7,600

A fairly short Before & After puzzle begins with Chris calling a dud in T. Second, Neepa calls three N's for $1,650, a $500 D while on Free Play and buys two A's, but she then lands on Bankrupt to lose the remaining $1,900. Third, Jose Bankrupts also to lose the WC. Back to Chris, who calls two E's while on FP but then a dud of R. Neepa then lights up a $300 L, buys two I's, calls a B and two M's for another $300 apiece and buys an O to clean out the vowels. After she puts up two C's for another $600, we have...

O _ / M I C E / A N D

M E N

I N / B L A C _

...and she solves OF MICE AND MEN IN BLACK for another $1,300 and $2,300 total.

DUDS (both by Chris): $900 R, $800 T
BANKRUPTS: 2 (Neepa, Jose)

Centrum Silver Mystery/Prize Puzzle Round category is What Are You Doing? and it's a big puzzle. Neepa, our current leader by just $300, gets herself going with three T's for $900 but then a dud of H comes along. Second, Jose calls three N's for $1,350 and buys four I's, then he calls two G's for another $1,600 and buys a couple of O's and five A's. He next lights up a $600 P but he then duds out with the only dud vowel on the board (E). Afterwards, Chris puts up a pair of R's for $1,800 and buys the U before calling a $550 S and hitting the left Bankrupt of the Million Dollar Wedge to give back $2,100 and the mystery trip. Neepa then makes a B appear while on FP for another $500, which is followed by a $3,500 F, a $500 M, a $350 L but then a late dud of D to likely miss out on at least an additional $5,750. After Jose calls two L's while on the Mystery Wedge next to the MDW and takes another $2,000 for them, we have...

B U Y I N G / A

P A I N T I N G

F R O M / A / L O _ A L

A R T I S T

...he solves BUYING A PAINTING FROM A LOCAL ARTIST for an extra $4,550 and a $6,700 trip to the Chabil Mar Villas in Belize, giving him a new total of $13,250 in cash and trip. But if he had flipped that MW over...he would've had eight grand more.

DUDS: $550 D (Neepa), E (Chris), $800 H (Neepa)
SOLE BANKRUPT: Chris

TONIGHT'S SPIN ID: JD1488066 (Jeffrey D. from Massachusetts)

...she remembers THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD for $4,500 more and a final second-place total of $6,800. Chris leaves with $1,300 in cash and shopping spree and Jose wins the match with $16,250 in cash and vacation.

So far, $24,350 in cash and merchandise has been given away tonight.

SOLE DUD: S (Chris)

TONIGHT'S BANKRUPT TRASH (excluding the WC): Four grand

Maxwell House Big Money Round: If Jose Bravo, Jr. can give us the 60th bonus round win of the season tonight, he'll either drive/sell away a Mazda MX-5 Miata or win up to $100,000. He spins the W and the category is Phrase. Starting with:

_ _ T S / L _ _ E

_ / _ L _ _ E

He calls B, D, P and A and gets...

_ _ T S / L _ _ E

A / _ L _ _ E

...without at least the I's and the G, he is unable to solve FITS LIKE A GLOVE for $30,000, sending him home with $16,250 in cash and trip.

Jeopardy!: Regina Robbins could become the first female five-time champion of the season and break the $100,000 mark tonight if she is successful defending her title against:

Melissa Kowalski (Bedminster, NJ)- Graduate student of English
Manny Maldonado III (Horizon City, TX)- High school Chemistry teacher

Opening categories:

YOU'RE HISTORY!
TV NAMES (on each clue, one word in each TV show's title is missing)
MIDDLE INITIAL V.

A FUNGUS AMONG US
BEVERAGE BRANDS
"LOCK" & "KEY"

At the first break, Kowalski is slightly in Lock Game Territory with $4,000, while Maldonado has $1,800 and the champion's starting out with $1,200. Later, with three clues left to be played in the round on the topic of Middle Initial V., Robbins uncovers the Daily Double with the $600 clue and three grand to her credit; Kowalski's still in the lead with $5,200, having twice Maldonado's current score. Her wager is two of her three large on this clue:

This current world leader's middle initial V. stands for Vladimirovich.

She does NOT come up with "Who is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin?", so she falls to last place with a C-note, and that's her final score for this round of play; Maldonado's second-place score is now $3,400.

LACH TRASH (all unattempted): $4,400

She currently leads Maldonado by $2,600 (which was the same amount she was leading him in the first round while he was in last place); Robbins' back up to $2,200. Her wager is $1,500 on this:

John Trumbull's "Declaration of Independence" is in the Capitol Rotunda and on the back of this piece of currency.

"What is the $2 bill?"...it doesn't exist nowadays, but she's right to be just $300 shy of five figures ($9,700)! After the fun Mr. Bill category gets cleaned out, Robbins gets the other DD attached to the middle Double Talk clue. This is a very critical clue, as she has $4,200 compared to Maldonado's $9,400 and Kowalski's $9,500. She makes a $3K bet on the following:

It's the double talk way to say "78 inches tall".

"What is six six?"...is absolutely right to stay in the game with $7,200! With two categories left, here's the first Stupid Answer:

In an 1877 novel, Mrs. Gordon initially suggests the name Ebony for this title character.

Regina Robbins' response was "What is Snoopy?"...THAT'S INCORRECT, AND SHE LOSES EVERYTHING. That means she leaves us for now with $91,700. Manny Maldonado instead responded with "What is Black Beauty?"...correct to add $5,100 (his suggested minimum bet was $4,601), taking him to $12,500. Melissa Kowalski...loses $2,901 with Tom Jones, meaning she gets the $2K runner-up check and Maldonado becomes the new champ.
