LMaD: The deviled eggs pairing of Cynthia (who's the egg) & Max (the devil) play the Four Keys Deal for the Hyundai Elantra (Curtain #2). They pick Key #3, which sounds like a DUD to me. Do they stop with a trip to Hollywood, FL (which is allegedly Dolph Ziggler's hometown) worth $4,574 plus $1,000?...NO. They were very close, though- Key #2 (held by Wayne Brady) opened the car today.

Tiffany Coyne: #1
Jonathan Mangum: #4

The second deal called Dodge the Joker is being played by Nancy (dressed as a pizza slice). She starts from the end of the line.

9. 6 OF SPADES ($500)
8. KING OF SPADES ($1K)
7. 7 OF HEARTS ($1.5K)
6. JACK OF DIAMONDS ($2K)
5. JOKER- ZONKED

That also means she LOSES the second part of this deal to Anchaya. She turns down $1,100 for what's in Curtain #1...the $7,155 retro kitchen appliance package!

The first two items in Deal #3 that Tataisha gets to choose from are a pop-up book & the silver small box (Jonathan). She gives the box to Carina (dressed as ketchup) for $600...& Tataisha wisely just gave her some eye cream. Curtain #3's next to be offered & she gives to Erick, who doesn't want it either. Therefore, he quickly leaves w/ the $600, leaving behind...a small living room group that included the Panasonic 42" LCD HDTV worth $3,757. Finally, Tataisha hands back her book in exchange for a grand...when she could've gone on the $8,114 St. Thomas vacation.

Deal #4 has a new element that I'll explain a little later. In the meantime, James (who's wearing a football replica jersey), Andrea & Ernest (dressed as a domino) get to pick from the three colored envelopes.

James: Gold- $700
Andrea: Bronze- I.O.U.
Ernest: Silver- $700

James makes a purchase of Curtain #1...but he's been STUNG by a honey-money kit w/ bees. Secondly, Ernest gives his money card back for the silver box...we find for him & his wife Sonia a leather black Gucci hobo bag, some Valentino pump shoes & some Michael Greene & Co. pearl earrings, a prize package worth $2,534. Now, to Andrea's special card- this will let her take whatever the other two traders passed up, which in this case amounts to $1,400 in cash. She can either have all that or the special prize inside that card. Andrea's going for the money, so she just said goodbye to...the $6,304 Sunlighten sauna/patio furniture package.

The next person to play "Who Wants To Answer Multiple Choice Questions For Cash & Prizes?" is Christina (dressed as a banana).

1. How much is each non-Joker card worth this season on DtJ?

A: $100
B: $250
C: $500

GUESS: $100

2. What trip was in the pop-up book today?

A: Fiji
B: St. Thomas
C: Hawaii

GUESS: St. Thomas ($1K)

3. Which car key opened the Hyundai this morning- #1, #2 or #3?
GUESS: #3

For the KIA Rio, w/ a choice of Curtains #2 & #3, she selects #3...but there's the catcher truck instead.

Finally, we've got not the Five Questions Deal, but the Six Questions Deal; Clarice (dressed as Little Red Riding Hood) will be the first to try this new board regarding Curtain #1:

Red Questions:
1. Does it have wheels?
2. Does it float?
3. Will it help you blog?

Green Questions:
1. Is it a trip?
2. Can it be worn?
3. Are there numbers on it?

Clarice will have the red half of the board & she asks if she can blog w/ it...no. After hearing that answer from Jonathan, she refuses as much as $800 to go home w/...a VESPA worth $3,619. The green Q that Thomas (dressed as Dr. Funkenstein) asks about the contents in the black purse Tiffany's holding is the trip one...NO. Following that response, he's offered as much as $900, but he hangs onto the purse...there are a trio of ZONK of credit cards, though. No matter what happened during that time, Anchaya will play for the Big Deal of the Day.

THE BIG DEAL: There's $24,242 worth of BD behind one of those doors. Anchaya's answer is Door #3. The middle door held a modern home office headlined by an iMac, the Samsung 42" LCD HDTV & an iPad, all valued at...$6,634. We're checking out her door next...AND WE HAVE OUR FIRST REGULAR BD WINNER SINCE THE LEXUS GIVEAWAY DAY! She's taking a U.K. Tour on a BMW motorcycle w/ a special helmet! As for Door #1, there was the Bank Vault & Mr. Brady opens it up to reveal that there was $2,001 in there this morning.

TPiR: This morning & Thursday's episodes come from the second taping day of the year. The day before then was really big (thanks in part to Leona Jackson), so if we get SKUNKED today and/or tomorrow, you need to first place the blame on the January 3rd tapings before you get to Mike Richards.

Anyway, George Gray has to tell these folks to come down to Contestant's Row- Andrea Serrano, Noah Hibbard, Julie Tacha & Kyle Simpson. IUFB #1 is a Fendi ladies' watch (Gwendolyn).

Julie: $525
Andrea: $526
Kyle: $800
Noah: $802

ARP: $2,600

Noah from Green Bay (home of TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Anderson) plays Lucky $even for the Chevrolet Cruze (Std., Prot, Tire)(Rachel). The first guess of his is seven...

$ 1 7 , _ _ _

...correct. He secondly says five...

$ 1 7 , 6 _ _

...there goes a dollar. His third pick is four...

$ 1 7 , 6 8 _

...that leaves him w/ $2. He plays the odds & finally says two...

$ 1 7 , 6 8 9

...but he ran into, IMO, the hardest playing of this Pricing Game this season.

Fifth is Charles Moore & the second IUFB's two Nirve bicycles (Amber & Gwen in front of CR).

Charles: $3K
Julie: $899
Andrea: $1,200
Kyle: $1,201

ARP: $920

Julie plays the Grand Game with, again, a $3 target price. This time, the groceries are a small box of Dillet's Turtles, Gold Medal All-Purpose Flour, a bag of Anthony's Bow Ties, Nestle Coffee-Mate, Mr. Clean & Del Monte Fresh-Cut Whole Kernel Corn.

1. Corn- $1.49 ($10)
2. Pasta- $1.69 ($100)
3. Flour- $3.49

Candy- $4.99
Coffee-Mate- $2.19
Mr. Clean- $2.49

The sixth player's name is Claudia Denton & the third one-bid prize will be a pair of Nikon Coolpix digital cameras (Amber & Rachel).

Claudia: $700
Andrea: $750
Kyle: $500

Charles: $550

ARP: $518

Kyle benefits from Charles' $32 overbid by playing the Balance Game for a trip to Zanzibar (Gwen at Door #3). The last three numbers in the price of this vacation are 2, 6 & 5.

DOLLAR VALUES AVAILABLE: $3K, $5K & $7K

He thinks it's a four-digit trip, so he guesses $8,265...NO, he's four thou short.

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #1:
Kyle ($518): $.95
Julie ($1,020): 20 + 35 = $.55
Noah ($2,600): 20 + 90 = OVER BY A DIME; KYLE ADVANCES TO SHOWCASE

The next customer at The Bob Barker Studio is Alyssa Sanchez & IUFB #4's the Opulent Items inflatable home theater (Gwen at Door #3).

Alyssa: A grand
Charles: $2.5K
Claudia: $1.5K
Andrea: $1,501

ARP: $1,700

Andrea has completed the First Four Sweep & will play One Wrong Price for an Ashley bed marked at $3,198 (Rachel), a SawStop table saw marked at $3,526 (Gwen) & a Heartland range marked at $6,711...but she blows it big time by choosing the bed. The range was $8,470.

The next possible winner is Edward Knox, Sr. & next on the IUFB list is one of the Danby wine fridges (Amber behind splitting sign).

Edward: $1,200
Alyssa: $1,300
Charles: $1,100
Claudia: BUCK

ARP: $1,599

Alyssa, who wanted to take on Pl!nko instead, plays Pathfinder for the Ford Mustang (Std., Prot)(Gwen at Door #3). The big board:

(2)(7)(8)(5)(7)
(0)(4)(3)(6)(9)
(1)(8)(2)(7)(4)
(9)(3)(5)(8)(1)
(6)(1)(9)(0)(5)

The three SPs (Rachel) are:

Electric pasta maker: $78 or $135?
AeroGlow dressing maker: $15 or $32?
Stainless-steel breadmaker: $149 or $180?

She gets the second digit of three right away...but still wins NOTHING.

MUSTANG: $23,694 (she stepped to the eight on the top line)
Pasta maker: $135
Dressing maker: $15
Breadmaker: $180

Our potential savior's Caitlin Winn & the Hatteras Hammock & a Totum patio heater will be the last one-bid gifts of the day (Rachel at Door #2).

Caitlin: $1.5K
Charles: $1,100
Claudia: $650
Edward: $1,501

ARP: $1,921

Edward plays the winnable $1K Clock Game for a trip to Palm Springs (Amber & Gwen at Door #3).

1. Adams ladies' golf clubs ($818)(Amber)
BIDS: $900, $800, $850, one downs until $846, $842, $841, $799, $800 & one ups from there

2. Luggage ($933)(Gwen)
BIDS: $700, $800, $900, $1K, $999, $988, one downs from there...BUT WE HAVE OUR FIRST SKUNKING THIS YEAR

The changes I would've made to this lineup:

1. One Wrong Price
2. Balance Game
3. Pathfinder
4. Clock Game
5. Lucky $even
6. Grand Game

We should've followed up a winless first half w/ a perfect second half, but it just wasn't meant to be today.

SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN #2:
Alyssa ($1,599): $.65
Andrea ($1,700): 40 + Quarter = $.65

She leads off by calling five S's for $2,500 & buys all of the vowels in this puzzle (three E's, two A's & O's and three O's & U's) prior to ringing in...

Prize Puzzle Round topic will be What Are You Doing? Steve first calls a G for the Wild Card & a $600 N & buys the I, followed by an $800 S, an O, but then the evening's first dud of M. Secondly, Keshia calls for two P's for a C-note but then loses the grand right back to the Bankrupt in between $600 & $900. Third, Nancy calls a $600 P & buys a couple E's before we see...

Third, Nancy puts up a $550 T & buys an I & a trio of O's, then she LaTs out. On his second turn, Steve hits the same Bankrupt previously gotten by Keshia to forfeit the WC & $700. Keshia next calls another dud of L, which is followed by Nancy inserting an $800 R, purchasing a pair of E's & putting up the SL of three S's for $2,400 additional. Afterwards, we have...

...she gets SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA to take her leading total to $13,257, including the Mexican trip.

SOLE BANKRUPT: Keshia

C R _ C _ _ T

...she remembers JIMINY CRICKET of "Pinocchio" fame w/ a second to spare to leave a distant second place w/ $4,200. Steve keeps the $3K in TU cash & Nancy's won this match fairly easily w/ $13,257 in cash & travel!

Despite us reaching the 10-puzzle mark this evening, only $20,457 in cash & vacation has been won tonight thus far.

DUDS: G (Nancy), S (Keshia)

TONIGHT'S BANKRUPT TRASH (excluding WC): $2,200

This episode concludes w/ us seeing a 1st Grade picture of Vanna.
