First Checkpoint: Row two miles in a fishing boat across Lake Takerkoust to a mineyard.

Second Checkpoint: Go down to a mine site & choose from one of four rubble piles. While throwing rubble over a sifter, two stones w/ valuable Amethyst crystals have to be found. After that, the crystals have to be traded in at a horse corral for some Arabian Stallions.

ELIMINATION CHECKPOINT: Teams have to ride their Stallions 3.5 miles to here w/ a red helicopter nearby.

-Tonight's family teams episode will be the last first-run episode for two weeks.

-The second two-hour Blind Date show, originally scheduled to be the season finale on September 15th, has been moved up to the 13th.

-As a result, the season finale will be one hour long; it will be the one titled "Does This Avatar Make Me Look Fat?".

"The Challenge: Rivals"- SEASON FINALE

Checkpoint #1 ("Pet Rock"): Carry or drag a rock & chain.

Checkpoint #2 ("Memories"): Memorize a campsite for a later challenge.

Checkpoint #3 ("Pile Up"): Move an entire dirt pile uphill into a large, designated rectangular box.

Ev & Paula are the current girl leaders; as for the guys, it's Kenny & Wes.

Checkpoint #4 ("Re-Creation Campsite"): This is where the exact campsite has to be built; some dud items are thrown in. If a team's incorrect, they have to go all the way back to Checkpoint #2 before going right back here to try again.

Taking the lead are Cara Maria & Laurel; Kenny & Wes are still ahead on the other side.

Checkpoint #5 ("Final Feast"): Eat everything given at your table.

Ev & Paula have taken the ladies' lead back after they've eaten.

Checkpoint #6 ("Sleep or Stand"): One member of each team will sleep while their teammates stand on a rock throughout the night. Every hour, they will have to switch positions; if one falls off the rock, they have to wake up their teammate & get them to say "I forgive you" in an acceptable manner before they resume their roles. If they disrupt anyone else, they'll incur a 10-minute penalty for the following morning.

By this time, Jenn & Mandi have been MATHEMATICALLY ELIMINATED.

FINAL CHALLENGE ("Search & Rescue"): After climbing all the way to the top of the mountain, they must use an avalanche beacon to locate a key to unlock their trophies.

Getting two-minute head starts because they reached Checkpoint #6 first are Ev & Paula and Kenny & Wes; a one-minute head start's given to Johnny & Tyler.
