Former GS host & long-time "New Year's Rockin' Eve" host Dick Clark HAS PASSED AWAY TODAY OF A HEART ATTACK AT THE AGE OF 82. Born Richard Wagstaff Clark on Nov. 30, 1929, Dick got his start hosting "American Bandstand" prior to getting the gig to host "Pyramid" for most of the '70s on ABC & all of the '80s runs on CBS & in syndication. He was also known for hosting "The Challengers" (which he also executive produced along w/ Ron Greenberg), the original U.S. version of "The Krypton Factor", the more recent version of "It Takes Two" & the short-lived American version of "Winning Lines". Additionally, he hosted "TV Bloopers & Practical Jokes" (originally alongside the late Ed McMahon).
