"The Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin said she's interested in joining the "American Idol" judging panel next season. It's also been reported that Randy Jackson may leave his judging seat to become the program's mentor.

I think Jimmy Iovine does a brilliant job as a mentor. I hope they don't replace him.
