"The Great Escape" 7/8- THE INSTITUTION

Michael & Deja (engaged)
Rick & Lori Ann (married; he's been in the Navy for 19 years)
Eric & Martin (South Boston)

After tonight, we'll be exactly 1/3 through the season. The detainment zone's the third floor. Before even reaching their first task, they have to break open a door & climb down a window using a rope made of bedsheets.

S1
(rehabilitation rooms): Break into a locked cage that has a small box containing a bone cutter.

FIRST $100K DESTINATION CLUE: ...USE

The RT is CAPTURED first...& the same goes for the GT after the RT nearly got caught again.

S2
(dormitory): Climb a rickety ladder & use the bone cutter to cut through three ropes, dropping a 500-pound cage that has electrical wiring for use in the next stage.

SECOND $100K DESTINATION CLUE: ...HE CO...

S3
(infirmary): Watch a looping sequence while attached to a head restraint-powered projector & match up various images to their shapes in order to rewire a broken electrical box & open the exit door. At that point, shovels & a flashlight could be picked up outside.

THIRD $100K DESTINATION CLUE: ...AL HO... (_HE CO______ HOUSE)

FS
(dig site): Uncover a ditch that conceals bedsheets & the final piece of the key.

COMPLETE $100K DESTINATION OF THE WEEK: THE COLONIAL HOUSE

The RT GETS CAPTURED AGAIN, giving the GT a chance to catch up...BUT THEY'RE CAPTURED A SECOND TIME, TOO.

TZ:
Because the Mendenhal Industrial Laundry & Linen trucks are subject to a guard checkpoint at the bottom of the hill, both teammates have to hide in a laundry hamper to avoid being captured just shy of the goal.

The BT never made it past S3...

...the other two teams had trouble figuring out the goal destination, but the RT WON!

(Final note: The premiere's winners were whisked away in a Volvo XC90, while tonight's victors rode out in a vintage car.)
